| 1. Some people absolutely cannot deal with slow-paced stories like this 2. A lot of people are angry that Nasu (Swallow) and Urobuchi (Rou) self-inserts are almost treated like background characters most of the time until now, while Ibuki perhaps reminded them of Ikari Shinji, just that instead of "get into the damn robot!" he gets to hear "sacrifice your damn friend!". |

| That ending credit gave everything away. Also, the main character is a wussy with one of the lamest powers (one hit kill in exchange for the life of a loved ones) I've ever seen in any anime. And the CG looks like it's been made since the playstation 1 era. Mod Edit: potential spoiler removed. |

Doesnt feel slow to me just feels like its jumping around randomly but I personally will wait til the end to score it. |
| I've been asking myself the same thing. C'mon, this anime's score is almost as low as Isuca's. It's true that the plot is not a masterpiece, but yet I find it pretty enjoyable and the art is just gorgeous |

The plot is a hilarious trainwreck of cliches, the characters are unlikeable. why isn't the score lower? |

| For me, I just can't stand seeing a whining MC each episode. His power is also absurd, one hit skill in exchange for a life of your love ones.Also the animation, especially the CG, is so bad that it may turned off some viewers that grade this series. |

| Well, it's now just 6.13 and I have to be honest, this last episode... it was bad enough that I logged in on MAL after a long long time just to grade this show :O I mean, wow is this show bad. Like the setting, art and characters make me think it can't be this bad... but it really is. I was planning on giving it a 5 or 6, but then when I saw the labels "average" and "fine" I just felt like it didn't deserve that at the moment. Maybe they can pull it a bit together... but at the moment... a definite 4 for me. And as if all of that wasn't bad enough on its own they even decided to introduce *another* new character whilst they are already unable to give the current characters any *real* depth. Just *sigh*... |

The forced drama in Chaos put me off from watching it but with Kuusen, while it's not exciting, is watchable as a slice of life series. Plus the MC in Kuusen doesn't annoy me as much as the one in Chaos. |

| i find it funny how people hate on Chaos Dragon…i expected this type of anime and thats what i got. i have a feeling people saw the names attached to this and the studio as well the similar "fate" type animation and excepted the next big thing…only to realize it wasn't that well people are generally stupid and thats fine it doesn't deserve an average rating of 6/10 but id give it a 6/10… wait till the anime is over to see the final rating…i think a low 7 to a high 6 should suffice if u look at the reviews and people that rate it low u will realize that their fav anime or anime they rated high is as bad or worse then this…but everyone is joining the hate train…its justified but not to this extent |

| Man, I didn't know the people involved in this before but after reading story which was created by five notable writers: Gen Urobuchi, Kinoko Nasu, Izuki Kogyoku, Ryōgo Narita, and Simadoriru... The results of their tabletop role-playing game sessions over six days created material for a seven-volume light novel series I knew there would be so much hubris over this that it was bound to collapse into a colossal fireball. It's almost put too many big names together not to fail spectacularly. |

| 5.99 is just too low I have seen many anime that has no action, ugly looking characters, no drama, episodic with no story and horrible OST that are rated above 6. Chaous Dragon should be at least much more entertaining than any of these shows. |

"This anime was sorta good, 8 stars" its the common attitude. 8-9 stars should be reserved for stuff that stands out, but its handed out like it means nothing on this site.
