| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Mm, I guess Alisha proves herself worthy as a warrior. Although I still think she can't get along with anyone on the team lol Storytelling is still cheesy but better than the previous episode. Lenka also shows a bit of his kinder self to a younger kid. I'm really hoping we learn more about him though as a character as well. The Aegis Project seems like an interesting concept I guess? |

| Lenka Utsugi Always careless And Carefree to his surrounding Two times has been Save. First Save him are Eric der Vogelweid But die Protect him. Second Protect him now are Soma Schicksal that guy very Quiet type very Strong he dont like Trouble maker. I like Main character in Game he not careless And Carefree plus not Trouble maker. I still like this Anime I hope Some day that Lenka Utsugi Become Aware to his surrounding. dont matter how Strong you are if you are not awareness surrounding you gonna die for sure. In Game God Eater Main Character are not like this.... not Trouble maker. |

| This unit is totally not unified at all, gonna be tough for Lindow ^^; Alisa doing whatever the F she wants and Souma shitting on dudes XD I wonder why Kota was even chosen to be part of this unit? I'm sure there are many better options or is he somehow special? The end was pretty messed up. Just allowing certain individuals in. So Aegis's "All humanity" meant only those who could use God Arcs? Or everyone 4real? |

| It was fun to see the unit in action, though Alisa not complying at all was something. After hearing about Aegis, I thought it was nice, but now I honestly doubt it can let "everyone" in. Seeing the refugees crying from relieve just to get sent away to basically their death... it was quite sad, indeed. :/ |

| If anything Lenka reminds me of Heero Yuy (Gundam Wing). Emotionless, stoic, been through hell at a young age... but with a little humanity for those he can relate to (ie. the stragglers this episode). I guess it's up to the GEs to extract that Core as soon as they can to save humanity, though its a damn shame that collateral damage (like the group they saved) is inevitable. Alas this desolate world that they live in has it's own set of rules and it's own caste system, all of it necessary to survive in this harsh land. |

| It looks like Unit 1 needs more time to trust each other. Soma shitting on the newbies and Alisa doesn't follow orders. I don't blame Soma for how he treated Kota though, Kota is the obligatory "crappy, weak character that was somehow qualified for this job." I really hope he improves. The ending was pretty sad, especially with the little girl's facial expression. And I have a hard time believing Aegis can support all of humanity.....whatever, we'll see. Meh episode overall, hopefully we learn more about Lenka's past soon. |

| great episode. gave us a good idea of the city, the surroundings, project aegis, and why that tiny island is able to hold all of mankind ...because all of mankind just means those who pass the test since no one else matters to whoever is responsible for these rules man why do i have a bad feeling that we will see those who were turned down again and it won't be a happy reunion |
I liked Kouta in the 1st ep and I'm happy to see him join their team. Alisa is clearly more of a lone wolf than a team player.  That last look she gave him. Felt bad for the little girl. Hope she survives. ;__;  |

| Looks like Unit 1 works as well together as water and oil. I can understand the logic behind establishing a rule like that but it still doesn't sit right with me by basically condemning them to almost assured death. It would really suck if they like showed their bodies or something on the side of the road later on if they go out on a mission cause that would give Lenka an even larger guilt trip. |

| Welp Kohta's first battle ended up not being any different than the game (pretty much) LOL ALSO BLACK VAJRA YUS so glad they're not snail-pacing this. Did anyone else see last week's episode 3.5? I now have a renewed sense of appreciation for the anime and how they did everything :0 (as cheesy as it sounds) |
| A good episode. Amamiya's team look pretty strong, but as of right now, their teamwork is almost useless, with Alisa acting like the lone wolf for the entire mission and Soma rescuing Kota and Lenka and dropping some harsh, but true remarks at them, telling them to improve their skills. The team's morale and mood doesn't help any of them either. Wouldn't it hurt for some of them to cheer up a bit more often, or is that just wishful thinking of me? =/ Another sad note is with the survivors that the group picked up en route to the wall. Sadly, the group were reject for not passing the patch test and were forced back outside the wall. I don't blame Lenka for his reaction, but looking at how many people already occupy space within the walls, and also considering the amount of resources needed for everyone to survive, they can't accept everyone in. The rule might be awful, but it's needed for a good reason sadly. D= The Aegis plan sounds ambitious alright, being built so that ALL of humanity can live there. It might sound odd at first, but we don't know how many humans are left on Earth now, so the plan sounds more believable. |

| If something looks like a game, smells like a game, and act like a game; It better be as fun as a game and so far it is pretty genetic. We have seen these characters before but the concept of the Aegis project seem extremely preposterous to me if what Kota said is true so we'll see. |

| Ahhh, I'm definitely happy to have my god eater fix for the week. Pretty decent world-building this episode. Also get to see how the chemistry is within the squads. Not looking good. Pretty fucked up making the survivors leave but I kinda expected that to happen. |

| Not much comment on this episode. Lenka, Alisa, and Kouta set out on their first mission, and Kouta's got his own problems regarding his new role. More dwelling on the fact that it's a harsh world out there, meaning they can't just easily welcome new people in. Alright episode. |
