| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaappppppppppppter. Pretty nice. The fighting part was expectedly window dressing, but I like the way Hao basically self-destructed emotionally after attaining his goal. Although that Ochiyo guy was kind of a surprise. |

The mangaka certainly can, but it's not the character's goal to defeat Hao in an epic battle according to how the story has been developing. They just want to make him a proper Shaman King, not destroying his soul. It was certainly cheesy considering how the guys where killing the Patch Tribe members up till now, but it still feels like the right thing to do. Also, I can't complain because Faust and Eliza looked really cute, as well as Jeanne XD |
