| Okay, that was... lame. The fights scenes were unimpressive and pretty underwhelming for manga readers. Yuu speech took WAAAY too long. It was so slow, my goodness. The driving thing wasn't as funny as in the manga, but hey that's just me. Crowley's arm didn't fly off, which kinda sucks. Also, I'll point out, they didn't include the scene with the bitching parent. Though it's pretty useless, it kinda showcases how some humans would rather be protected by vampires if they're just gonna end up living outside human territory anyway. |

| This was one of the better episodes, I quite enjoyed it with the comedy and action. I almost felt like Shinoa was gonna get killed.. Damn good thing he retreated. But those designs though.. For the vampires and the cursed weapons, they are awesome. reminds me how AGK had so many really good designs, and I love that. Looking forward to next episode. |

| Shinoa's growing on me. She was just being plain cruel at first (I mean hell, she did get Yuu beat up and bullied on purpose) but lately her teasing's been much more like, well, like actual teasing. The stuff she says to Mitsu is funny as well. |

The vampires are lame and non intimidating and getting Mitsu captured in a dumb way just to have Yuu show off was pathetic But hey Shinoa actually(more like tried) to help for once and not be an annoying comic relief character but they will screw her character up more and make her a worthless love interest for Yuu At least Crowley was cool 1/5 |

| lol I'm not sure about Mika x Yu anymore because I really really like Shinoa I can see everyone except Mika, Yu and Shinoa dying and yet they still might die who knows There was some feelings towards Yu that were made obvious this episode I am really liking Yu as a main character at the moment he is a cool guy who seems to be winning the hearts of the girls on his team and still deeply cares about Mika. I absolutely loved the car seen where he was acting like such a kid I also liked when Shinoa got angry. I can't wait for some Mika screen time next episode because we really don't know much about him |

| at last...Hyakuya finally have met someone who is definitely stronger than anyone of them in one-on-one. Hyakuya will never act all high and mighty once he realizes that someone is more powerful than him! And those high-level vamps are called Nobles? Maybe there are also Clan Lords? Clan Leaders? Progenitors? The Lord? or even NOBLESSE!?!? OMG!troll never mess with Shinoa's height on front of her or else...feel her wrath! Mitsuba tsundere-dere much!? 4/5. |

| It was good seeing some action. Yu was pretty much badass in this episode. But nothing special. Saving two girls in one ep, huh? Man, that Crowley dude was OP. XD |

I think it is because someone higher rank than him is calling him. From what I can see it seems vampires have different position Ex. Krul- 3rd Progenitor and Ferid being the 7th. that is just my own thought ^_^ |

| This story is finally getting good. I like that. I still wish it had more depth though. I feel this series could be REALLY good if we learned about the conflict, vampires, and everything else little by little, but in a mysterious way that makes you ask yourself what's going on and who's on the right side. Of course it would much better art since the background looks awful. But the setting has a lot more potential than this imo. Still pretty enjoyable. By the way, I loved that car. Those scenes were really funny. |
| Great episode, started quite excited to fight a large group of vampires, Yuu showed how strong is and ties of team begin to improve After, a scene with more humor with Yuu and Shinoa trying to drive, and to finalize a show of force on the part of stronger vampires, I like how this plot develops, I am very anxious to see the next episodes .. | The power difference between the vampires and our mains is HUGE! They wouldn't have any chance to survive if that fight wasn't cancelled. Yet, Yuu has proved to be an amazing warrior. No Mika this episode :( |

| Kind of expected more from the fight and would have liked to actually see the end of it. But i guess it has impact to some degree this way. I'm liking Yu's development actually, he's getting less annoying and becoming quite a nice character actually. |
| Finally got to watching this week and to be perfectly honest, I was disappointed in parts. They adapted the initial part of the raid well enough, and up till the point where they were ambushed was perfectly fine. I especially liked how you still see that streak of rebelliousness in Yuu. His acceptance of orders at the bare minimum and how he rushed into the first vampire with no regards was typical Yuu at the current place he was at. To say the least, he got lucky with the assignment. Mitsuba had every right to slap him silly again, and his lack of remorse yet again was infuriating to watch. But as bad as it all sounds, that's exactly where the author wants viewers to be with him and his attitude right now. That portion after they were ambushed however..... I wish they'd just thrown that section into the trash and pasted the manga pages on instead. Seriously, when the hell did Yuu actually spout that long-ass monologue whilst Mitsuba was being strangled to death in the manga?!?! That lame-ass conversation wasn't suppose to happen, and the way they did it in the manga, I remember the banter was on the fly, whilst fighting, not when they were just standing around making funny poses..... They definitely didn't talk up so much drivel DURING the fights.... Sure I understand they wanted to make the Vampires show their disdain regarding all human livestock and their arrogance of believing that all humans were beneath them, before getting surprised and massacred by Yuu's team. Yet the way they animated it was pretty messed up. I don't feel like they actually got the point across. Heck it would have been better if the Vamps were taunting Yuu and they all unleashed their Demonic weapons, flash to bad guys dissolving into a beam of light, screaming "Baka-na....!", instead of how they just skipped the entire massacre and went straight to the aftermath. I understand they're probably not being given that much of a budget, but seriously, animating a little more emotion to the battle scenes really shouldn't be THAT hard right??? Having Yuu scream his expositions whilst running at the Vampire should be easier to do, and probably would have saved them some running time to put together the subsequent scenes better. The subsequent hot-wire the Jeep and head to Shinjuku was alright I guess. I'm not positive if they skipped the Jeep Tag scene or not(could be next episode), I'd be disappointed if they did though.. Crowley's appearance was meant to make Yuu realize the gulf in abilities between regular small-fry vamps, and Progenitor-class ones. The way they introduced him was fine and all, but somehow I still feel a lack of tension amongst the cast during the meeting. Yuu was suppose to be arrogant up till Crowley teleported behind him, Shinoa and Mitsuba were suppose to be scared shitless and the other two were suppose to be on-edge the entire time. Unfortunately, I don't know if it's something to do with the animation (they could make them look a lot more tense) or the Seiyuus (a lack of urgent terror in their voices..), or that techno music that came out at the wrong time (that was more of an "in-battle" song than an actual "bad-ass villian just arrived" song). Then immediately after they left, the team just started talking so normally, it was a bit unnerving. I mean, you were just let off the hook from complete annihilation by a trio of Nobles carrying A-grade Vampiric weapons, at least look a bit more relieved. Clearly this show, as good as the source material is, has a poor case of editing. Those are some really poor transition scenes this episode. I'm disappointed that they're doing such a poor job in transitioning from one unrelated scene to the next. That and the lack of any tension during the battle scenes (rendering them into cute training exercises) are really getting on my nerves here. The story is going at a snails pace as it is, there really is no need to drag out the battle scenes so unnecessarily for so much exposition talk, that you end up skipping the battle entirely, now is there? Am really, REALLY hoping that they don't mess up the concurrent battles as much as they did for this one (even as unimportant as it is in the grand scheme of things). |

| I'd just write "sigh" and be done with it, but someone would probably report me for spam so here goes: This was predictable, lame and not interesting whatsoever. Arslan first episode almost made me drop it and then it turned out to be really good show. First episode of this almost made me favorite it (over exaggerating, but you know what I mean) and now I am at brink of dropping it. How the tables have turned. |
| I really like the backround. It is really a good choice for them to choose painted like background since this kind of method was able to convey more emotion to the scenes (which the others doesn't understand). The animation was alright especially in the fight scene. Some changes from the manga which I think is okay (not that important at all), but i hope at least they didn't change the scene where Crowley's hand should fly, LOL. Yu is becoming more and more able to coop up with team work and was able to even save the 2 girls. Good Job, Yu! I also like his lines about the humans being ugly. The pacing was alright and I love all the OST played especially in the last part when Shinoa is thanking Yu. The car scene was also hilarious. Lesson: Don't ever mock little girls when driving Don't ever let Yu drive a hammer. My favorite part is when Crowley made his badass entrance together with the two cutie vampires. It seems even with those curse gear, they have still long way to go to defeat a noble vampires. Overall 5/5 Super enjoyable and now, after seeing the preview, my hype goes up more. Mika's big screen debut finally! And it seems it will be a pack of action! |

| Despite the generic shounen cliche-ness in this show, I can still enjoy it nonetheless. Still, comparing to the manga, the anime itself seems like a joke, imo. Dunno, maybe the executions on some scenes perhaps? Hey look, that generic-tsundere-looking girl started to like and acting tsundere towards the MC now. Not much of surprise, though.. Also, Yu slashed those vampires like a boss! When will they show Mika, anyway? It's been a while now! |

| Is it just me or did this anime just take a sharp left turn into snoozeville? First two Vampires they really fight Yu just one-shots before they can so much as lift a finger, and when they are about to square off 5-vs-7, THEY SKIP THE FREAKING FIGHT!!! Seriously, why!? And then when we finally get what looks like an actual fight scene on our hands, they freaking retreat because of the plot!!! How on earth does an anime go for a solid 8 to a wimpy 3 in one episode this far in??? |

| Why are people ignoring Hiroyuki's lack of great soundtrack for this anime? I haven't heard a memorable one yet (The one in the first episode was good, but it stopped playing). His recent works, Xenoblade X and Nanatsu no Taizai has fantastic OST. Especially Nanatsu no Taizai.... |
