DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Is it just me or did the budget go into Ikumi's boobs almost every camera shot? lmao Ikumi vs. Soma. Nice. Imo, Ikumi lives up to her expectations as a master of cooking meat. her knife skills and technical ability captured the audience's attention like myself. I also liked how the episode focused on her confidence and attachment to the meat. Weird I know but it works quite well... Delicious!  How I just love Soma's comebacks and style though. |

| Souma is such a fucking troll lol.....The guy had no interest in joining Don's club xDDD Poor Ikumi got all infatuated with him only to also get trolled lol That Shokugeki was pretty cool....Seeing Ikumi go to work was quite the sight but what I loved the most was all the banter that went on between her and Souma as well as the energy and hate from the croud Ikumi might have had better meat at face value but logically speaking Souma rekt her with everything else in his plate like the rice etc and the fact that they also enhanced his meat in every way, it was pretty much ggwp for her Overall it was a great episode and Ikumi is definitely one of my favorites of this series now....That beginning fanservice was too hawt >//< |

| Nikumi may be all knowledgeable about meat, but her cooking style wasn't anything special compared to Souma's. She only cooked the meat well, but didn't proportionate the rice enough with it. Pretty amazing how Souma won despite using cheap ingredients. Because he used them properly, it exceeded A5 meat by some levels. Well, that was a good cook-off nonetheless. Looks like Nikumi developed a crush on Souma now. Too bad, he's not going to be in the same club as her. Decent episode. New challenge with blonde guy next week? O.o  |

| Nice episode, the first Shokugeki was done pretty well. The foodgasm in this episode was slightly toned down than before, but not really something to complain. Next episode, Takumi!! |

| Haha, I've been waiting for this episode for a long time. Finally Ikumi joined the good side :D. The only thing that is bad with this anime and manga, is that when you watch it, there is no way you won't get hungry :D. I want to try these recipes, but I don't have cash :D. | Look I'm sure the A5 meat was out-of-this-world good, but the cheap meat along with the other ingredients created one harmony which makes the eater want more while the A5 rice did not mix with the garlic rice. I'm obviously sure that the A5 alone would have beaten the cheap meat. It annoys me to see people complain when in reality, the outcome made complete sense. |
| Such a meaty episode, I just couldn't get enough. I'm a bit disappointed that Nikumi's foodgasm seemed rather toned down though :( |
