So that is how the real story since the first arc was all about. Glad that things are finally getting revealed. I always suspected that Takano was somehow part of the mysterious things going ever since I knew she never really got "burned in a can" because her time of death did not match.

Good episode, although I found it boring compared to the others. It didn't add much to the overall plot, just showing background info that we knew most of, this time showing Takano's intervention

I want to see what's the thing that make Takano this mad ... She even didnt care about human life ... why she didnt just continue her grandfather's research in the right way ... she said in the previous episode that she want to became a god !! .. honestly ; I cant see clearly her purpose or her goal of doing all that .

I hope they also show what happened to Satoshi. I NEED to know what happened to Satoshi!

The episode are pretty slow lately and out of the overall context of the show. I hope they get back on a good pace soon

Rika remember, this is a good thing. If she can avoid making Satoshi leave the village, that could change a lot in the story.

The doctor Irie must have accumulated a lot of guilt if he often did experiments similar to these.

Wow, I didn't even realize that was the dam manager until reading the other comments here, fail :/. Pretty funny that the protestors had nothing to do with the murder, though I guess it was technically Oyashiro's *curse* that caused it.

I wonder if they're gonna show us what actually happened to Satoshi.

So the dam director was the one who died and the guy who vivisected was the one who was supposedly "sacrificed" (i.e. went missing?). I'd be interested in hearing about the deaths and disappearances of the other victims of the "curse."

Anyway, I loved the end scene with Mion and Rika. Looks like Rika and Hanyuu were sent back pretty far this time.

I think that calling Satoshi a bad big brother is judging him far too harshly. Remember, both Satoshi and Satoko are basically pariahs in the village, plus they are being abused at home. Satoshi's comments show that he is a great big brother, since he is still intervening and trying his best to protect his little sister, even though it has left him emotionally exhausted. Wanting just a little time off is completely understandable, especially since him getting time off also puts Satoko in a safer place. It is because he didn't get enough breaks like this that he eventually broke down and left.

Wait wait wait the time jumps were getting shorter up to 2 weeks short but we see Rika here be conscious about the time jump even before Satoshi died. Did almost living the last timeline let her travel back further or just plot inconsistency?

So it seems like Takano's past is pretty much done at this point... and I don't see why she would be evil like that. Her motivation is to finish the research of her grandfather, but where did she get her bad values from? Certainly not from him, he was a decent man.
And yes I'll probably complain about this for the rest of the season lol

The mystery, behind the previous action, shown very accurately on these episode. Its from Hanyuu perspective back there witnessing how helplessness resulted such a great disaster. Its happen because of one lady will of fire, that spreaded very nicely into a madness for the other certain peoples.

The event occured first at dam's construction meeting that split the village into two parts. However, most of it on the Honozaki's side, ofc, which led the whole village into an eternity hate against Houjou family that started the fight first. Funny with Satoshi's reaction against Satoko's sickness, that there was not so pure intentions of him to saved her little sister as a nice brother. He just wanted to live peacefully without even care a little about his surrounding, at least he was so tireful. Thats where his little sister, Satoko, really disturbed his life as Shion said at her arc, depending him too much against the abusive aunt and uncle. At the end, as he progressed further, he fell into Hinamizawa syndrome, and yeah, the result must be well known after that. He took the wrong to resolved his situations ....

Another nice fact, where the organization of Miyo was really the real mastermind behind all of that incident ineptness. Firstly, that dam manager whose went rampage, i am pretty sure its because of Yamainu drugs. That cause the others to fell into Hinamizawa syndrome, and one of the murderer get caught by her in the end of the scene. For the sake of her research to seek the truth. Damn! I feel sorry about Sonozaki family. But sure as heck, that onibaba was scary af, and there is no way my sympathy just ended to be like that.

Well, well, one point already been revealed very nicely with all of its detail. The behind the screen of human mutilation at the Dam's construction issue. And then, the beginning of Satoko's involvement to the whole convoluted situations, and Hanyuu's determination, finally! So, what else next?

Obligatory Takano looks hot in her nurse outfit.

So, that is where everything has gone to shit. Now I wonder if Takano has something to do with the formation of the dam project or she just took advantage of it. That's where the rumor that there is one killed and one that disappears begun. So, I am assuming they experiment on the killer.

Damn, let's go I am excited for when we finally reach the new timeline with Hanyu's help.

alright its starting to come together; the dam manager had level 5 hinamizawa syndrome so he started attacking his builder crew and the crew killed him brutally and chop him to pieces and the right arm is with tokyo because the ex convict in the crew has been taken for live experiments and takano is fucked up as always the only humane person in tokyo is dr irie and satoshi is not a very good brother. to the next episode

So it seems that Rika's memories went way back in time, and not two weeks. She has way more time to plan out. She can also save Satoshi in this timeline.

And no wonder Irie takes great care of Satoko... well, besides the lolicon bit.

Slow ep but it's okay, a different perspective to Hinamizawa's past, explains why right arm and last killer was never found.

INSANE to see how strong Takano's wish is, unique way to create a strong character and I'm here for it. I still despise her but she graduated from being a cartoon villain.

Honestly I feel worse for Satoshi than Satoko. His words makes me think that Satoko was making it harder to have a decent relationship with their aunt and when she is not there Satoshi could have a break atleast in home. Not gonna blame a eleven year old but the pressure on Satoshi must be unbearable. I mean, didn't Satoko accept this all in the first season? Can't wait to see the truth behind his disappearance.

Also what was Hanyuu doing for years?? Can't she teleport anywhere and see anything...
