----------------------------------------
Zan SZS kitaaa!
new OP in same style like the previous, but they re-used old pictures.
Ikkyu-san with beard looked funny. But the first story about bad omens was really fitting to Zetsubou Sensei :)
we got some unusual action and a lot of blood, yea the girls were using the weapons according to their archetypes.
They're so right that some unconvenient things announce spring as well ~~

Chiri's punctuation was _precisely_ noted, tended to be a bit annoying~
So were those 'sound effects'
There was much more Nami appearance than she used to.. can we expect more focus on other characters?

- Komori uses a Peach computer^^
but there weren't much more obvious references than Yuno on the mobile phone, or maybe I just missed ._.
And more drawing songs, Kaere's singing was huh, her picture did better lol. Those were drawn by the respective seiyuu

All in all, first episode brought back SZS like as usual. I like it more than the beginning of 2nd season (Zoku SZS)

The thing is that this anime is hard as hell to understand without subs. Good episode though, with a few cameos like always (like the MariaHolic characters in the background)
OP is great but needs more animation. ED is awesome too.
Even so, Rumba Rap > all the others.

Apple Plucking Beam!

To me, it hasn't changed one bit, just as great as ever. I especially loved how Matoi appears with her deep love and the awesome murder scene.

Not a fan of this opening, but the ending wasn't bad.

Awesome as always. The prison breakout was hilarious, and I lol'd hard at the "message in a bottle".

lol, prison break was just great. Other 2 stories weren't that amusing however.

And the last frame (at the very end of the video) looks like something drawn by Hiroaki Samura.

I liked the OP - I hope there will be animation though, instead of a slideshow. ED was great.

Loved the prison break. ^^

Aaah, they're back. Is it just me or did the animation got better? It was very pleasant to look at, maybe since the episode was quite calm? (More spade murder, please, haha) OP is ok, probably has to grow on me first. The ED on the other hand, was CUTE. AND, THE DRAWING SONG IS BACK. Such a classic.

Ah, so that's what they were, I was about to ask about those :p

I just watched the subbed version, no idea by whom.. Too bad they didn't translate all the despairing examples Nozomu gave again, but yeah, you must be a pretty dedicated subgroup to master SZS :p Already very satisfied with these subs :)

Ill be honest, same with Zoku, I didnt have high expectations for Zan as I keep thinking to myself that its impossible to keep the quality high. However, just like Zoku, I was proven wrong. I loved this episode, the prison break was epic, the jokes, while in the same format as the previous series, were still great, and the characters were just as awesome as ever. Surely Zan will not leave me in despair if the rest of the season is just as good.

I really am surprised that I still find it funny, but I guess thats why SZS is my favorite anime series ever. I just cant get enough of Nozomu and his student's crazy antics.

And oh my god, the new Zetsubou Sensei drawing song at the end...just wow...

Yay SZS is back and still amusing as ever!
OP was a little bit disappointing compared to the last two but still OK.
Ai's headbutt was awesome lol, knocking people out whilst apologizing ftw.

I've said this for Zoku and I said this for Goku and of course I'll say it again:

They need to animate chapter 89 in Zan!

...still awesome episode.

I thought this episode kinda sucked, pretty much just an animated debate of random issues rather than the comedic series it once was in my eyes. I just didn't find the intended comedy funny =/.

絶望した!Too short episode zetsubou shita!

Pretty good episode. Only OP wasn't great. It's a pity the subbers haven't translated the text on screen (it wasn't much tho')

Was Chiri's punctuation always like that? It's was pretty annoying.
And Usui and Kaga rocked when saving their sensei.

Had to watch it again with gg, they did a great job with the abundant numbers of signs.
That drawing song cracks me up all the time though, I still can't get the picture out of my head the last time they did it.

F-Yeah!!!! I will be in despair again!!! Thank you SHAFT. This episode had the same feel that I would expect from the series which is awesome, and I loved that part when the girls stormed into the prison, it was efing epic!!!. The op was disappointing compared to the 1st, 2nd, and the OVAs (which were a bit of a let down but whose OPs made my brain melt), but that's about it. I'm looking forward to more despair.

ZETSUBOU IS BACK WITH A VENGEANCE. I haven't laughed that much for a while, and the prison break scene was amazing. This is the same Zetsubou sensei we know and love, and I am definitely ready for more.

One disappointment was that the OP wasn't as awesome as the previous ones, but you really can't top Rumba so I'll let it slide.

Well, I'm totally stoked I get SZS back in my life, but this episode was a slow start (I think I felt the same way about the first episode of Zoku). I hate that they feel like they have to re-introduce the characters...even if they kind of do...at the expense of hilarity, but the jail break, Kiri, and a lot of the end made up for it.

The episode was alright. The prison break scene was pretty funny.
It wasn't on the same level as some of the previous episodes but yeah hopefully the upcoming episodes make up for the slow start.

Still, very excited this series got another season. Can't get enough Zetsubou!
wonder how many episode this one is going to run for..

the first part was the funniest, mr despair sure looks like a bad omen XD
"i would rather stay here" XD thats why i love this anime
it felt like ages since i`ve last heard "ZETSUBOUSHITA"!!!
but the rumba rap and the marionet ending will always be the best OST for this anime

Wonderful episode. The breakout, the random disturbing fat guy/mail-in-briefs guy during the spring conversation was just unusually funny to me.

Message in a bottle was clever and I laughed really hard.

The production values are UP. It's wonderful ^^. ED is amazing, and OP was decent, although animation-wise we'll see where SHAFT takes us.
