| Since I lost quite a lot of faith in anime these days I actually care more about the opening than the show in most show I watch, and knowing this tokyo ghoul adaptation was going to be bad, I was expecting an opening that I would remember at least, well nope. The song is bland, slow and the background music is okay, too slow for this season full of fight. The animation is really bad, the art is kind of irk me because it's so different from the anime one. |

| 1) I don't see how the song relates to the series. 2) They could've expressed the symbolism in a more creative way, but they didn't. 3) Animation is lazy. 4) Lots of people agree that the first OP was better. 5) Simply put, it's not good. Sure, nothing could top Unravel, but that doesn't mean they could just make some crappy OP and think it would satisfy us. But to each their own opinion. I don't mind this OP, but I expected something epic, so it's disappointing. |

| I really dislike the new op tbh. I know a big reason for me was the fact Unravel was so AMAZING, and I knew it would be REALLY hard to top, but I was hoping the root a op would be somewhat good, like it just fell really flat and isn't memorable as its a kind of boring song and the animation is lazy (even though shirtless Kaneki is nice and all)... I rarely skip op's when I am watching a show which is airing, but for this one I do, I actually prefer to the ending to opening. |

I definitely don't agree with them, and i think that most of the openings that have been sung by Ling Tosite Sigure are worth it. Thought it's my opinion, lot of fans enjoyed abnormalize (the first opening of psycho pass) and unravel (the first opening of Tokyo Ghoul). |

| As everyone has expertly concluded, it just is a bad follow up to Unravel. Unravel perfectly captured Kaneki and what he was going through, plus it showed him with his BA white hair so that helped. Oh and the animation was actually animated. |

| Well, its a pretty boring opening. You don't even need to compare it to the first opening, its just boring. Some people like it because its deep but its clear that it don't appeal to most people so I don't think its a very good choice. The song isn't that bad, I mean its on my playlist. Didn't get played as much as the ending though,the ending is probably the best thing that came out of the anime. |

| Well the second opening somewhat represent season 2 but its just too different from Unravel. Plus since Kaneki power up you would expect a more upbeat and fast tracked song. |

| I dont even know how the season 1 opening is so loved , the song sounds awful, the singer has one the most annoying voices I have ever heard theres not 1 thing I like about the season 1 opening , and while im not a fan of tokyo ghoul as a series I can say the season 2 opening actually sounds pretty decent to me. |
