| Obviously; I wasn't really expecting much since it's "Episode 1." (And IMMHO, atleast they did away with the quirky, "looks-like-too-much-work" animation.) But yeah. Now that Alicesoft had gone give Rance the anime treatment again, I'm crossing my fingers they work on an adaptation of Daibanchou. I only played the original Rance 01 (still waiting for the translation of the Remake) so the story was quite different from what I remember but it's nice to see the new character designs. Since Rance gets better and better with each new game I really hope they're going to adapt all of them (especially 06, Sengoku and Quest). |

The adaptation of "Persona 4" kinda sucked in general but the authors still managed to make it feel right by playing on the original soundtrack in the right way. It's the same with Rance. H-Scenes without "My Glorious Days" are just not enough. I hope the animation staff will get it next time. |

| Nishikawa Takashi's unmistakable style. H scenes looked good and of course very silly XD Lots of distinctive character designs. I wonder if all those girls will get some action? It would be nice if they had the original ost but just because they didn't have it wouldn't really make the experience of the hentai any worse. |

| Not sure why it took me this long to watch this as a huge fan of the games, but I finally did. Artstyle is surprisingly faithful, Rance's voice is spot-on, and the H-scenes are nice. The dark humor of the game is nailed quite nicely too. |
