Well, it depends on how well it sales.

Wouldn't watch a second season.

I'd like a second season as much as I'd like Ebola.
The best anime is the Road to El Dorado

I'd be down for second season. Its not a great show or nor will it revolutionize anime, but I felt it was fine enough to warrant a second season. Though, other anime which are better deserve one over this.

This thread should die for even bringing up the topic.

Well this season went for 24 episodes for some reason so maybe it will get a 2nd season. Hope not though.

I think the ratings speak for itself. They already had 24 episodes to work with, and still had the gall to drop hints for a continuation? I think they're overvaluing themselves here.

For a storyline as generic as this, 13 episodes would have been more than enough.

If this were a manga or TV show in North America, it would have been axed long ago.

it wasnt stellar, didnt break molds, etc etc, but for that reason it probably will get a second season (if sales are good ofc) since generally the great shows that really deserve a s2 seem to never get them while the sub par ones somehow always get them, this show is kinda in between the two extremes

also, it was long an drug out because it was 24 eps, if it was 12, ppl would complain about it being too fast, and skipping content from manga etc, always stuff to complain about

This is not a very useful poll; it combines two non-equivalent questions into one.

I'd watch a season 2, but I don't think we'll get one. The finale concluded most plotlines in some moderately appropriate fashion, not including any potential romantic subplot. The finale was not stellar or anything, but it did its job.
Pie is delicious.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Wait, you're seriously asking that? You're seriously asking if an original anime (no manga, no LN, no VN) that sold less the 400 copies per volume is going to get a 2nd season?

Well for that kind of ending that wasn't even suggest the story/war was close.
So maybe they are really planning to make a sequel.
But please that should take from five years and up from now.
Haters always gonna hate.

Honestly, I'd rather this story be rushed than dragged out, because it's not even interesting to sit through.

It worked for Mobile Suit Gundam. It had terrible ratings, toys didn't sell well until after the fact and got cut short. This was in the era when all mecha were dependent on toy sales. Now look at the franchise.

The anime industry is far more forgiving than it used to be. OST sales, BD and DVD sales, merch sales, TV Ratings. All of these factors determine whether or not the second season happens-- hence why a show that was as successful as Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere II still has not gotten the second season. Or how the moderately successful Guilty Crown did not get a second season.

Gundam: It became a hit after it finished airing. And by that, I mean in a few years., when people realized it was actually good quality (for the time). Argevollen is NOT good quality, so there's nothing to discover. Gundam was quite unique back then, Argevollen is completely generic.

Horizon: The studio discovered that Love Live! makes way more money then Horizon.

Guilty Crown: Noitamina is not know for making sequels anymore, regardless of sales.

That's the point of Gundam.

No, Horizon 3 hasn't happened because ASCII Media Works/Dengeki has decided that S3 needs to happen. It was an LN adaptation and the LNs are selling quite well, so there is no need.

And Noitamina doesn't do sequels because it is a programming block. The 'noitamina curse' is what people call the fact that shows that air in that block rarely break 10k sales at their best.

One season of this... thing is too much anyway. I wouldn't watch the second one and hope that it won't be made. I think they have better things to animate.

Not a chance. Actually I'm surprised it got even 24eps.

Personally I dropped it after six. It wasn't bad but it just didn't feel fun to watch.

Don't think it will get another season. Many were surprised that it had 24 episodes. The story was lacking. I don't think they had much to go off anyways.

It didn't even make above 1,000 on one of those Bluray/CD weekly threads they had Arge at only 800 sales for first volume that means it totally bombed. There is 0% chance for a second season cause they will not even get close to breaking even with the sales they are getting for the first season.

Kaminomi sold poorly as well.

Arge has a game based on it that is pretty popular at the moment.
