Pretty much the only thing I don't really understand is why it was called "Avenging Battle". What were they avenging, again?

From what I gather, the anime caught up to the light novels. Also, judging by other peoples posts, the anime wrapped everything up but it did cut some content out. It was rushed, but it leaves room for a epilogue. Maybe we'll get to see a recovered Chaika and some more definite romance. Unfortunately, I don't see the light novel doing much else because the whole conflict of the story was resolved. I really enjoyed this anime though, and hope to see future content.

Ending sucks... Seriously. Last 2 eps were just meh. Especially the last one...

I would have preferred a 13 episode second season actually, the second half feels quite rushed.
