It sound like we have the same tone on horror games/books/movies, or lovecraftian stories, or however you wanna call it. I suggest you play Dear Esther if you like that sort of stuff, it's very short but it's breathtaking if you pay attention - quality over quantity! It's available on steam, probably torrented, too.
Oh fun fact, the ones who made Dear Esther is also the ones making Amnesia 2.
I sorta agree with shmirkies here. It helps to make sure you are interested in the anime before watching. but try and enjoy every anime you watch even if you don't like it lol.

I don't understand you. How can you complete Yu Gi Oh if you gave it a 2? When you dropped everything else that you rated 4-5? Was there something that grasped your interest in Yu Gi Oh that the others didn't?
