Expecting Evergreen Anime?

I'm not a person who reads manga or light novels but I probably would read this one if it was certain there would be no anime. So I am wondering what anyone thinks about when or if we can expect an anime adaptation or how far off we are from expecting the anime based on how much content they have to work off of?

At this point, I wouldn't get my hopes up about any possible anime adaptation. This story did not start as a light novel, and may not be the best material for writing an anime script. On the other hand, it has already been licensed for publication in English (May 2015, they say), which is -very- unusual for something with only eighteen chapters so far, no light novel and no anime announced.

Time will tell.

for a monthly release series having 19 chapters (so far) and getting anime as quick as in (if) 2015 is a little bit far fetched. I want to put Golden Time as example but realize that it was a light novel (and the author is Toradora's) to begin with.

i do want anime adaptation, but if it happens, whether it'll have a different ending or the manga planned to be end simultaneously.

Evergreen is not monthly but quarterly I think.

It started out as bi-montly, but is now in a monthly magazine. That doesn't mean that it comes out every month, mind you, but now that she is done with Golden Time, Takamiya-sensei may be concentrating on this story more...

In any event, I am not sure if it will get an anime. I wouldn't be surprised if it did, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it didn't. (How's that for non-committal?)

Well, for now i'm going to keep my fingers crossed. If the manga gets finished after awhile and there is no word on an anime, then i will definitely read it. But looking at the writers track record and the fact that the manga is still alive, I'm excited either way. =D
