| I thought season 1 of chaika was very mediocre but one thing i did like was toru man I just love that sabuer transfomation but yeah this episode was not half bad looking for to next week. |

| Okay, they agreed on 3 vs 1, so bringing in Frederica would be a violation..unless someone of them simply drops out instead. They didn't agree on which 3 would fight, at least not on screen. If they can easily win as dragoon cavalier, they won't need 4 people, so Toru or more likely Akari could drop out. About Vivi: Funny how things work. I was thinking "if they *transform* into Chaika, maybe they lose their memories during doing so". Then they show Vivi as Chaika remembering the Captain - theory busted. Then "Guy" shows up and mentions that she did not complete the transformation.. theory is on again. Besides that, every Chaika is different anyways, so who knows. The fact that Vivi was a orphan is interesting though, esepcially with regards to the scene with the Emperor. A secret lab outside the empire of Gaz, Chaikas turning up eveywhere with no memory of anything prior to a very specific point a year (was it a year?) ago, an orphan turning into Chaika.. The dots do connect, though how and why they did it is still unclear. Also unclear: How and why they get their colors - assuming it's something that has a in universe reason, and is not just done to make them easier for the viewer to identify. As others have said: Too bad it's only 10 eispodes. I would gladly trade in some of the other anime airing for more of this. |

| Great first episode. Picked up right where the first season left off. The first season was such a dark horse too, I didn't expect it to get a sequel. Cant express how happy I am. The new hero Claudia is pretty awesome. Seemingly normal compared to most of the other heroes. Also more powerful than them too. Gaz was definitely planning to use the Chaika's as a tool to benefit himself in some way. Maybe getting all the remains together and sacrificing a Chaika will revive the emperor or something. We get to see half-Chaika Vivi, and a tease of Red Chaika in next episode. Gillete is still MIA. And we see some guy who looks like the male Akari standing by a tree. The one thing I was really hoping to see this season, and they already delivered on it...Akari using saboteur form. She literally only used it once when they fought Frederica as a dragoon, and it was only for like 20 seconds. I thought she was very underutilized and really wanted to see more of her fighting. I really enjoyed the way she used her hammer, yet also had a lot of finesse and grace, yet we never got that combined with saboteur form. Then they already showed it a lot more the first episode. And from the looks of the OP, we'll see it a lot more this season. Cant wait. Hopefully more Frederica too. Still wonder why Toru wont make a contract with her. Don't see why he cant be a saboteur AND a dragoon cavalier. |

| FUCKING AMAZING FIRST EPISODE! cake cookie tarto lol Anyways, amazing first episode, jumps right back into the story with a bit of background on the emperor. Got some unexplained questions explained, which is always good stuffs. More Chaika speak is always awesome, and more cute Fredrica aww yeee. Love how the OP and ED keep the same vibe as the previous season. Great continuation, the only flaw about this season is that is is 10 episodes long haha xD |

| Good to see this series back and also good to see that it jumped straight into the action - Hitsugi no Chaika definitely knows how to play up it's strong points,and the battles certainly are one of them. We got 3 skilled(okay maybe 2/3,but Chaika isn't exactly useless) but far from overpowered protagonists that have to constantly work together in order to defeat stronger foes(I guess you could say 4 if you count Frederica, but she doesn't always join in,which is a good thing IMO),often using some nice fighting tactics. Way more fun than seeing Tatsuya wipe the floor with his non-factor opponents without breaking a sweat. I hope this season is able to wrap up the story. |
| And the best loli is baaack. First thing I notice is the improved visual quality because I just rewatched S1 last night. Anyway, this is a much better 1st episode than last season. I'm hoping to get blown away on this one :) Extreme disappointment, we're left with a cliffhanger :p |

| This really didn't get the love it deserved first season so I'm glad to see it back to finish off the story. Looks like we'll have at least three (well.... two-and-a-half anyway) Chaikas show up in the same place to try and get the remains. This episode seemed like it was extremely short and that's always a good sign. |

| Sasuga Chaika, I can feel that your way of speaking kinda improves in this season. Me grateful. I guess the animation got improved and Akari and her crazy antics, haha. It would be great to see more about Chaika's past and the new Chaika, Vivi to... Full awake, maybe? |

| OP was awesome! xD Ok, so the episode. :3 WOOT! It's back! I love Hitsugi no Chaika, it's such a nice and awesome anime. :3 The characters are cool, the story is nice, and the action is awesome! xD This episode, it looked like it was left off a month after the first season? After that flying castle battle, Vivi transforming into Chaika (And it seems she's the daughter of the Emperor?), and yeah! So, Tooru, Akari, and Chaika have found another remain of Emperor Gaz, but of course some guardian has it. :P And now they have to fight her for the piece! 3-ON-1 battle, woot. :3 Can't wait for the next episode, it's too bad it's only gonna be 10 episodes. :( |

I'm sure we'll get lots of action packed episodes and ofcourse funny moments. Yeah.. and that cliffhanger. Was really looking forward for that 3v1 fight >.> |

| I feel confused... should probably have watched season 1 before this, didn't know this was second season D: OP was pretty good, and the style is fine too. I am not overly excited but that might change when i have watched the first season. |

| Second season is here. That actually didn't feel slow to wait at all. It was kind of fast in my opinion. The journey to gather the emperor's remains is still ongoing. Chaika still needs to work hard on her incantations. |

| Fight was decent but glad the season has started :) So it's safe to say Vivi is the real Chaika now, considering her normal ways of communicating it shouldn't come as a big surprise. Bet her memories were locked in until the time is right to reveal it and Guy knew the lost of the man she loved would push her to breaking point thus revealing her true form. |

| 4/5 Episode usable. The thing that catches the eye is the graphic quality considerably less crude and more refined, good Bones! The animations are average. Narrative is not that has left me very satisfied. That is not bad, it starts right away without much delay in summarizing the events preceding, showing what is more interesting for the viewer, or to show the emperor Gaz and the events that took place before his death. Starring that I hope will ripen well, given that the TV series is very short, I also hope there are even more new characters in the cast. Not bad the OST for the rest attedno the next episodes to give a more focused and less influenced by preconceptions as possible. For now, my vote is 6/10! |
