| LATEST UPDATE: Okay, so, as promised in their tweet yesterday, they have released the list of characters along with the voice performers. They just tweeted that the new thing is that they chose Hiromi Igarashi (五十嵐裕美) to play the role of Sumire Yomogida (蓬田菫). Here is the new list of the staff and cast on their website, but it is all in Japanese: http://girlfriend-kari-anime.jp/cast-and-staff The staff members are listed on the top part. For the bottom part with the cast, there are 35 names. However, it does not list the actress (五十嵐裕美) who is mentioned today in the tweet. The Japanese-language Wikipedia article contains a list: http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E3%82%AC%E3%83%BC%E3%83%AB%E3%83%95%E3%83%AC%E3%83%B3%E3%83%89%EF%BC%88%E4%BB%AE%EF%BC%89 But it lists 38 characters. All of the voice performers are female. That leaves a disagreement of two. I might be counting wrong, since I wasn't super careful. I went through all of the voice performers one-by-one since each of them has their own Wikipedia page which indicates if they are male or female. So far, I don't see any indication of a male character. | The reason why it was tweeted like that ("something different") before announcing about Sumire Yomogida: Hiromi Igarash is because she is a new character that first appeared on 21st of this month (which was not mentioned in the Briefs). Today's announcement, which will be in next Briefs as well, shocked me. Miss Monochrome as a part of the cast. https://twitter.com/gf_anime/status/514401449711640576 Part 1 and 2 of the announcements were done 0:00 JST each day, but Part 3 of the announcement is done 18:00 JST each day, except today which announced about Miss Monochrome on 22:00 JST.
