I read the news title really fast and didn't think of the title that much so I thought the manga Girl Friends was getting anime. Now I'm disappointed. Also will not watch this. Not my cup of tea at all.

I'll watch it though, since at least this time I know what I'm getting into unlike last time and Yui Ogura in the voice cast. I just won't touch the game even with a 39 1/2 foot pole.

Yes! This! If until I saw the "Kari" I was getting really exited. Then the excitement went away immediately, especially since "Kari" is my sister's name. There's nothing like seeing the words "Girlfriend" and your sister's name next to each other to totally drop the excitement level...

However, I'll probably check out the anime... And maybe the game...

I played it a while ago and become annoyed because of the new cards piling up while the quota is so difficult to raise. I don't know how good an Anime adaptation of a game can be. I'm not sure it will have any promising story.

DLC won't kill Western gaming on PC, it might kill AAA but not Western PC gaming in general. There are fewer than 5 games in Japan without shady business models on mobile and browser, and there are hundreds if not thousands of games on PC without shady business models, some don't even have DLC at all.
