Just like Mahou Shoujo Madoka, this show is an Original Anime. So, you can't find any manga or light novels.. For now.. But around July, they will produce a spin off manga of the series.

BTW! Even though people is comparing this to Mahou Shoujo Madoka, that ending prove that its not. (My Opinion)

@lesna02
Because they both go with the premise "lollies tangled in a Faustian gambit" doing the genre deconstruction.
They are actually similar in execution and in character developments.

Ruko is Madoka- a good natured selfless girl who learns truths about the Faustian deal
Yuzuki is Sayaka- a character exploration of the contract backfiring
Hitoe is Mami- who is an example of the risks involved from the start

Is Selector Infected WIXOSS good on it's own right? Yes. Mari Okada's writing is completely different with a different focus and idea.
Does it deserve to be compared to Madoka? Yes, because it's better by focusing on its characters!
Would it be like this if Madoka didn't exist? I really doubt Mari Okada would've written something like this if Madoka wasn't a success and an influence today.

mhm about the hole madoka compairing in my opinion this anime is being really harshly compared to madoka i think that this anime yes it has a similar vibe but i think this anime is in its own league with its,many twist plots when the only really big twist plot in my opinion

yep i agree with this and about the whole madoka compairing yes this,anime has a similar vibe but i think its being really harshly judged due to it being similar to madoka with its large success in my opinion selector is in a league of its own with many twists in the plot and was not as rushed compaired to madoka which i personally struggled to keep up with and many things wasent explained enough for me :p the only real big plot twsit for me was
and i really enjoyed the ending of this anime much more than madoka but that's just me ^_^ :p yes the script in places could have been improved but good job mari! :p cannot wait til S2 and yaaay cant wait til the manga spin offs on purikyu i personally wanted to find out more about her (sorry for the really bad spelling) :p
----edit----
hahaha xD wrote it out twice and quoted twice my bad must have done it without realising sorry :L

@WhiteJoker

Forget the spelling, capitals, punctuation, please, use them.
And there's no need to even use quote, just address my name.

Selector Infected's a league of it's own when characters are concerned, but when it comes to storytelling, that's where Selector Infected has already fallen apart, since Okada-san was so focused on the characters she didn't know how to handle the further plot development without torturing them even further after putting them through so much drama. The twists were actually very, very well foreshadowed, not making them shocking, but a logical development.

She's no Urobutcher, I get it, but we could've had something great here, she just needed the guts to execute it. Well the 2nd season can hopefully pick up the soap and not bother explaining what the hell all of this is supposed be, but instead focus on its new arc and the characters, with a better laid out storyline and development. You already have the baseline, even if its flimsy, if you fail, then it shall be remembered as a good attempt and an interesting experiment, or just a lesser Madoka. either is fine.

What felt not explained enough in your view? WIXOSS did spell out a lot of things the watcher could already figure out by himself/herself, so in comparision Madoka would certainly feel more "rushed", but wouldn't that position the problem on WIXOSS instead of Madoka?

Is there any news about the manga ? There should be two.
One of them, Blue Appli... heard that this one has Piluruk (when she's still human) as main character

Yes.
The other is about an all-new selector, with a all-new LRIG.
