| I've always thought it but I'll say it again. Fukumoto knows how to make good impact panels. My favorites were the backhand to the drop kick but this whole chapter looked so good. It was impactful and in typical Fukumoto fashion it flowed like a dang movie. I wasn't sure how his full on fight scenes would be but that was awesome. Very cool! It looked very bad at the start and if Kurosawa didn't turn the tides it would have been over. But through a blessing of God, or perhaps because Miki is a gosh dang idiot who made his group fight for who gets the money, Kurosawa gets up and sees the thing he's fighting to stop happening. He isn't protecting one gosh dang lady! So he gets a freaking shounen power up and dismantles these thugs. It felt so good!!! Seeing Kurosawa go into the mode where he's fighting like a samurai, prepared to die giving his all, it's always awesome and he's hit that. Some little babies can't hope to match that, but if not for inspiring Sakaguchi into combat they would have won through sheer numbers. I think the highlight character wise was how Sakaguchi couldn't sit by as Kurosawa did all that work and his helping Kurosawa made a chain reaction for his goons to save him when he was in danger. Now, it's not going to be clean but if the main force gets inspired they can get through this! |
