any chance of season 3

Hi,

Alright i know this question have been asked for a long time now, and i have researched on the internet, and i found out that in some interview (rly dont remember the site now) the auther/director say that he thnks that this is the end of DTB, yet some ppl think there is a chance that they will announce one? so anybody have a clear picture wat is going on?

I would say there would be another one, since they've still got a lot to explain about the whole background of that world, characters and what will happen next, they cant just leave us hanging (hopefully). Its also, still a very awesome and popular anime series. Though yea I haven't really got any evidence but Bones and Aniplex tend to deliver till the end, they might be taking a break or taking a while to write it/change direction of it maybe.

Anyways thats just my thought on it...

Ah you've got a good point there, usually I guess anime's do and I guess they should in this case ( actually they better do that lol, cause if they don't...) since its been a few months since the end of the last season.

Though if they don't I think sum more circulating news should follow on their official websites and around the interwebs in the coming weeks of the final OVAs release, with whats happening ( fingers crossed).

In the mean time however, there also the Darker than Black mangas, if your interested and haven't already read them, which are slowly coming out and are still pretty awesome in my opinion.

finished the manga between the first and the second season already, and its good, (good to see yinxhei moments lol).

Well anyways, since ur talking about news,i dunno if u noticed but i posted a link to an article in a magazine in another thread, feel free to have a look at it (unfortunately cant figure wat it means since i cant read japanese). And actually lately ( on the 7th of this month) another blog was disussing the possibility of a 3rd season regarding the article. however, am still really bothered by wat the director said in his interview, it was a big LOLWUT to me. This series is much more better than kiddy things like bleach and naruto, and have a good sales rank on amazon japan which is 104 (the second season that is) and on top of that, they have just too many given materials and plot holes to make a season from, so they dont need to bother to make a brand new storyline. anyways lets hope they make a third season and that they DONT screw it up, i mean if yin wasnt in it i may not watch it..... (ya screw misaki, the most annoying character, no offence to misaki fans)

And btw a prequel of the first season would be awesone; it would be nice to explain the heavens gate incident

Yea defiantly agree with you there they could easily do that given how they've set everything out so far.

Oh yea actually a prequel of some sort to the whole thing, even at least even some OVAs would be awesome!

I really hope not. Nothing they have made since the first season has been very good.
If they do, it had better go back to focusing on Hei.

lol why not? whatever they do they cant make it worse than what they did. I mean srsly, we dont know if yin is dead or alive for sure, and if u look at the whole dtb story, the end of season 2 is the climax; we still didnt see the impact of the calamity that have been born, + tons of other questions. So u see, no matter wat they do, they cant screw up more than wat they did in season 2, but they surely can revive the show. And btw, i dont recall dtb being a tragedy story, so why the heck killing everyone that hei ever liked? i mean bai, hei's sister, is already gone when the series started, amber who loved him dearly diead/vanished at the end of the first season, and now yin may or may not be dead.. so i dunno wat the producers are rly planning lol.....

ya lol, id rly like to see the relationship between amber and hei in the past, even if they are just an ova mini series, well anyways lets not get our hopes too high, since they decided to stop such a good show(srsly i still think wth is wrong with them), they are officially nuts now, so this may just be a fading ray of hope, which i hope its not...
