| Natsuki pointed this out to me a while ago. We are dieing as a club. This seems to have happened after the server crash though there's nothing to blame since all clubs experienced the same thing. There were suggestions to create new events for the club (contests?). I want to encourage people to write reviews/recommendations for anime they like. But you can just do that by yourself and submit it to MAL ... so how can we make this fun? What other stuff can we do? |

| I'd say more anime-specific discussions. There's a thread for the Mai franchise, but that limits it to only people who have watched Mai-Hime/Otome. There are plenty of other series that merit discussion, and it would also serve as recommendations for members that haven't seen the anime that are being discussed. |

| The Mai-Franchise rules! XD It suck when this happens. I remember inviting a friend of mine (Chie-Hallard) but he was here for only about two months before telling me that he's not really into MAL and left for good which led me to do a stupid thing like taking over his account to make it seem like he is still around. But if want to make a comeback for real then I guess he is more than welcomed to. But I have to agree that this club is dying and the rate of new members joining is getting lesser and lesser :( |
| The problem is not solved by getting new members, but trying to activate more old members... seems that only admins post in the threads the past period. Making a tournament is maybe a good way to do that, but isn't this supposed to be a club where people can talk and socialize? So maybe we should come up with something connected to that in a way, like put up more threads connected to that, and mass-message all the members a few times. |

| In any case, there are 10 admins here including kaminakun, so I'm sure we can think of some threads that can be interesting for members. I suggested a tournament, does anyone have any other option in mind? We definitely need topics regarding anime discussion, that is always good. Also, something that'll enable members to socialize more. C'moooon, let's brainstorm together :DDD |

| We hold those kind of contests in Aquastar Anime Forums annually, so its a pretty smart idea, Natsuki-chan :) |
| I think a popularity contest would be better than a contest who's stronger, since every series has a different standard of strength. Many of the weaker DBZ characters could easily beat all Mai-HiME characters at a time, for example. |

| Many threads, but I guess that's ok, will only be a good sign that the club is active again. If you all agree with this idea, tell me how would we do it? Like, mass message the members with something like: "Get to know people on MAL more! Open a thread and answer questions about yourself" although it needs to be a bit catchy so people would actually do that :D |

| the ASK thread is good too, but we can't have too many threads else it'll be confusing and no one will bother checking them all ... but we can't have just one ask thread either else it'll be a mess =.= okay we've have discussed this quite a bit ... we should start putting some of these plans into action anyway... last idea from me for the day and I'll probably put this into action when I get home tonight in a couple of hours (unless an admin find this a very stupid idea) ... here it is: NOTE: I am also giving a "go-ahead" signal the ASK member thread idea ... just make it a reasonable number of threads (ie. we have ~380 members, we can't have 380 threads) OMFG! I am super tired now ... and the list is still not done ... but here it is FOR NOW For girls we can set up 16 matches ... so out of however many we have at the end for girls, 32 of them will be selected. As for guys, I am thinking of 8 matches unless we can get a lot more girls to participate in this tournament ... |
