The arc was full of plot wholes, and the joke was that a couple minutes of exposition could have easily fixed that. It plays on the fact that the overuse of exposition was a common complaint in season one, but season two has less exposition and has been suffering because of it. And now we've effectively killed the joke... |

Gangler said: Agreed to this. They have been portrayed as they were in the past without any evolution. One can argue that it is almost as the portraying of how the Church may change due to one's person actions alone. Touma indeed has been shapping a lot of characters around, specifically Kanzaki and Magnus.Yumekichi11 said: mystik said: Finally someone said except I was already sick even when the first arc came around in regards to that storyline. I just decided that it was really a comedic mockery of my beliefs despite finding entertaining it quickly stalled for me.after these 2 arcs I'm sick of the roman catholic storyline. It doesn't really strike me as a comedic mockery so much as merely a manifestation of the fictional setting. The Roman Catholic church is a very different church today than it was a thousand years ago. Teaches a very different set of values. In this setting they aren't, and neither are any of the other churches really. The British Puritans have similarly been portrayed more in line with their history and less in line with their present. Heck, one could argue that the scientific community is portrayed pretty poorly within the show as well. Gangler said: Once again it was like that in the past and IRL history it goes back to the Church employing magic mixed within their own beliefs hence where exorcism and angel magic came into view along with the knights but I have yet to see a true Knight Templar with powerful magic appear. Those knights with Gregory's chant in season 1 do not make up that expectation. I want sword wielding tough Hulk powerful magic user knight templar to show up.When the roman catholics command the largest force of warlocks and soldier-nuns on the planet, I think that's about the moment we get to stop expecting too much resemblance between them and existing religions. Iirc the church also has pretty harsh views on witchcraft;) Gangler said: That being said the next arc should be a pleasant change of pace^^ They've given themselves eight episodes to do it. That should be more than enough. If they butcher it I'll be pissed. As far as I'm concerned it wouldn't matter what they did with the rest of the season so long as it meant they got this one arc right. They cut volume eight to 2 episodes and they did this arc in three when it really could have used that fourth episode. Animation quality has been dropping throughout the season. I'm hoping this next arc is why. I agree and am hoping next arc will have a pleasant up in quality. Gangler said: Agreed also, the diversification should be upped and unfortunately I can only hope that season 3 will give us exactly that, if they can remove the ecchi parts that the ban will not tolerate, I do not see a problem other than perhaps the violence that may issue. Toning that down would not be good IMO.I suspect that the oversaturation of roman catholics has been building us up to something. The first season really was much more diverse with its' villains:( Been having fun, but we haven't really had anything as good as Izzard or the Sister Arc yet... Season one we didn't see the same kind of villain twice. Season two we've had over half of our villains come from the same group sharing similar motivations. |

Onibokusu said: Your username describes you too well, so much so that it shrouds the fact that that is not the explanation in the novels. Go and read them. Im sorry about the name, I hate it ,but i suck at making usernames so i came up with the something cheesy. Anyway i do read the novels. Im up to date with V.22. I know what ur talking about “Wait a moment; I’ll remove the magic lock…” Her words are interrupted. Kamijou steps forward. “…No need to be so polite. I feel that it’s already too troublesome to worry about all these!!” With this irritated cry, Kamijou clenches his fist and smashes it into the middle of the door. BAM!! The door and even the surrounding wall are blown away. With the place where Kamijou punched, there’s a 3m square hole in the wall. “Really amazing.” “That’s because this is different from the escort ships; there’s magic on even the walls and floors.” The lock and even the other constructs were destroyed as well. The crumbled entrance reveals an inside similar in appearance to the outside of the ‘Queen of the Adriatic Sea’, like an interior cruise pathway. But the space 3m inside is also cut, eradicated cleanly. Seems like the hit just now wasn’t just limited to a square, but also a cube. There’s even only half of an Angel-figure wall light. “This is a block structure.” Index explains clearly, “This removes the bare minimum required to minimise the damage. So even if it’s Touma’s right hand, it can’t destroy everything in one go.” On an escort ship, even if he touched the ship, this wouldn’t happen. Kamijou thinks that with this, their explanation of the flagship continually changing shapes and using this to control the ships should be correct. but the anime did it a bit differently having index not mention that it has a magic lock and went straight to touma punching it. Then index said "Unlike the escort ships, this ship has magic embedded through out its structure" Which is no different than the novels explanation minus the block structure explanation. |

Those knights with Gregory's chant in season 1 do not make up that expectation. I want sword wielding tough Hulk powerful magic user knight templar to show up. Lol yes. I get the impression those knights really were quite powerful. Too bad Kanzaki killed them at the beginning of volume seven. Doesn't matter how good they were, she's a saint (Izzard was also kind of a rigged fight lol). You're right though, I'd like to see one of those too. A real Paladin type character with Holy magic and Righteous Fury. We get a lot of Priest types but where's a knight when you need one? I suspect the reason they're suspiciously absent is because Touma does poorly against armed opponents. Just look back to volume one when Kanzaki beat him senseless without breaking a sweat or even unsheathing her sword. If he encountered a real badass with a good two handed blade it might not end too well. Basically the same reason the Touma's villain of the week never walks up with a handgun. Touma's reaction "Oh Noes!!! Bullets are my Kryptonite!" Poor guy doesn't even have a spidey sense to tell him when they're coming:( Personally I'm a fan of how his limitations are portrayed so accurately. There was a quote in one of the books I liked. From the scene in this arc when he's diverting all the golems. Kamijou Touma is definitely not some whiz kid. Because he’s more or less used to fighting in the night, he roughly knows his ability. He definitely knows that he can win if it’s a one on one fight; it’ll be dangerous if it’s one on two, and he should run away without hesitation if it’s one on three. This isn’t because he’s exceptionally weak, but rather, in a fight without rules, numbers are more important than skills. If he fights seriously, it’ll take about 5 seconds for him to be defeated. But. That’s just for a human vs human fight. “WOOOOHHH—!?” Kamijou’s fist rips the air. If the enemy’s a human, both sides would probably fight until one loses consciousness. But if it’s an enemy that will disappear on being touched, Kamijou still has a chance. The numerous golems continue to squeeze into the narrow path. Kamijou’s right hand is almost swinging about and hitting the incoming enemies. He doesn’t care how strong the fist is — no matter how light it is, as long as it can touch the enemies, it’s good. So far the only armed opponent he's won against is Tatemiya, and that was through a combination of dumb luck and having Stiyl backing him up. Without Stiyl he would have lost. Timing that punch wrong would have also resulted in a pretty quick decapitation. He hasn't made a habit of such luck so I don't find it objectionable. I'm hoping though that as the team develops it'll present opportunities for more complex stratagems as well as greater complexity and variance in the buildup to his final one on one confrontation. We all saw volume nine and ten. Straight-forward chase scenes only go so far. If we'd gotten Mikoto to hack the security cameras that arc could have bypassed about three hundred pages of uninteresting. Probably about four episodes. Then while Touma was taking care of card-girl Tsuchimikado could have focused his reconnaissance skills towards finding the brains of the outfit while Index, from a safe distance over the phone, puzzled out all that crap with how the artifact functions. Because she'd be communicating with Orsola and Sherry that would free up the dialogue on the front lines for subject matter more interesting than dumbing down the magic for Touma. I have some pretty high hopes for how this all looks once we have a formalized team. Hoping that formalized team will also mean we can get more armed opponents, as Stiyl, Tsuchimikado, Tatemiya (really any of the amakusa), and to a degree even Misaka should all be able to handle that pretty well. We shouldn't have to rely so heavily on Touma. Edit: found the quote, replaced my poor paraphrasing. |

I think Sherry's switch to intelligence division was probably a good move. I can't see her contributing too much to the party balance as far as combat goes. We've already got Stiyl who's a better summoner than her and more versatile. Her golems are large, but lack the offensive and defensive capacity of Innocentius. Plus since her skills are remarkably lacking outside of the golem department she'd be pretty redundant on the front lines. Seeing as Touma's the hero and Mikoto's the heroin, and Index is the namesake I'd be surprised if they didn't have at least those core members on the team. I think it'll be interesting seeing how Mikoto fairs against wizards, as most have a much more versatile means of attacking than her. Plus many are trained soldiers of some form, skilled melee combatants. Mikoto, for all her esper powers, has the physical prowess of a middle school girl. Despite how powerful she is in Academy city I don't think she'll get to one shot very many opponents once she starts getting involved in magical affairs. |

Yumekichi11 said: From what i can tell the Adriatic Sea is 160 km width on average and from what i am able to tell there are many coastal settlements there so phone call reception is possible.Aversa said: Yumekichi11 said: Now starting with Touma, kind surprised in general that his cell phone and Index's cellphone worked in the middle of the sea. Regardless Touma definitely had the bad-ass expression more than once. That Touma punch in the spoiler Aversa said: Yes seems like Touma redeemed himself a bit tho he should learn not to hit woman, he will get in trouble with feminist organizations if he continues. Also don't underestimate the European mobile network it should work fine if they where near a coastal settlement... Agreed on that one. I was wondering about that cell phone reception thing, well? Were they really around the coast? It looked like they were more in the middle of the sea itself. Tho i do think they have to be near to coast for that or one of the many islands there. Yumekichi11 said: Yes the doctor is one of the most interesting characters in this show.Yumekichi11 said: So after the capital ship capsized, I assume the rest was gone and that's why Touma was floating around in the water. They kind of rushed to him being suddenly in the hospital. Aversa said: That is rather interesting, could be Touma's rescue was rushed to protect his secret that he himself is not even aware of it.That scene also confirmed something. Either there afraid that Esper's might be investigated suggesting there powers might even alter there body. Aversa said: I would agree more with you on the doctor. He is far too quiet and when he speaks things always get rather interesting and more revealing.Or the doctor knows something about Touma's Imagine Breaker that he does not want to leak out. And it might even be something else, in any case it's a subject of speculation. And he should get way more screen time. I personally think that this season has been missing out on 3 major characters that would definitely spice things up and make it way more interesting. The doctor is one of them the other two are Kanzaki and Accelerator. Yumekichi11 said: I think it was Gangler that mentioned that Touma could have Masochistic personality disorder which seems to describe him perfectly.Yumekichi11 said: Holy shit Kanzaki sudden appearance and sudden blushing! Made my day big time but what was better is her version of being a maid in the spoiler Aversa said: Indeed, Kanzaki might have even staged that wining ticket for him with the help of the Amakusa, whom Touma certainly does not know all of them. Therefore Kanzaki possibly used Touma again, yet she herself is also apologizing that Touma gets involved. What's interesting in all this is that Touma does not mind much of it. She should just give her innocence to Touma. The shit he did for her really is a lot in many ways many life risking. He could have been dead so many times, it's incredible.Judging from her phone cal i think she was the one responsible that Touma ended up in Italy. I somehow thought the entire arc that Touma's running into Orsola in Italy was no coincidence and that phone call seems to prove it. Which also explains his drastic ways to help others. It's like the author looked at the symptoms and thought hey that would make a interesting character. Yumekichi11 said: I never figured her as the type that would have fantasies about wearing a maid outfit.Aversa said: Why not, she most likely is sick herself of war battles she constantly she has to get involved. IMO she wants to live and have in society what that hidden fantasies being one of them. And judging from Kanzaki's reaction to the maid thing it seems she has some hidden fantasies. She just doesn't look like someone that would wear such submissive clothing. Kanzaki is a very dominant character and this is what makes her sexy and attractive, wearing a maid outfit ruins that appearance. Yumekichi11 said: I am actually wondering about that.Yumekichi11 said: At first I though Orsola is coming back to Academy City living with Kanzaki? To my surprise it is actually Agnese! Aversa said: Indeed it was no choice deal but I guess since she had more of a contact with the Amakusa clan and having Orsola back her up, it was natural she ended up with Kanzaki. That came indeed as a bit of a surprise tho i don't know if it was in Academy city. Tho it does seem they will be roommates. Agnese could not be involved with the Roman Catholic church anymore and it was clear that she would go to the Anglican church for protection. But ending up as the roommate of Kanzaki. In her phone call Kanzaki mentioned that she has nothing to do with the Amakusa and more. Could it be that she is purely part of the Anglican church now? Since Laura Stuart also mentioned something about limiting Kanzaki's actions, and from what we seen from Laura Stuart she is a woman with lot's of tricks up her sleeves. Gangler said: The way the Roman Catholic church is described here is the same way Muslim extremist groups such as Al-Qaeda and Jihad view the Islam.Yumekichi11 said: mystik said: Finally someone said except I was already sick even when the first arc came around in regards to that storyline. In regards to touma being brought back to academy city, the conversation in the LN reads like this. An Italian hospital sure feels refreshing. There’re a lot of people who go on overseas trips, but it’s rare for a visitor to be sent to hospital because of an accident, right? Kamijou thinks. Right now, he’s lying on a stretcher, moving about in the darkness as creaking sounds can be heard. The doctor and nurse seem to be saying something to him, but he doesn’t understand it at all. His right shoulder and left hand are bandaged, and there’s an ‘I’m OK!’ bandage on his face…maybe because he got disinfectant sprayed on his face, his eyes sting. “Should be the disinfectant, I can’t think of anything else! Damn it, why can others use the Amakusa’s bathing technique and let their skin be so silky and smooth…” “The Adriatic Sea really isn’t that cold.” “WHY DO YOU LOOK SO HAPPY, INDEX!? WE BOTH SUNK TOGETHER WITH THE SHIP DOWN INTO THE VENETIAN COAST!! OI, YOU’RE HAPPY THAT YOU DIDN’T GET ABANDONED THIS TIME, ARE YOU—” “!!” Before Kamijou can finish speaking, Index suddenly trips and falls onto the corridor. “Since…since when am I happy!!?” “I got it, you’re alright, right!? Really, you actually made them worried because of something like this, Index. Aren’t you giving Miss Nurse even more trouble? AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!” Just as Kamijou’s trying to accost the blond nurse, Index chomps on him. “Touma’s still Touma even if he’s on a stretcher, right!?” “I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN!!” The nun who leaped on the stretcher and executed an act of violence is pulled away. Maybe the nurse onee-chan doesn’t understand what they’re saying as she tilts her head to show that she doesn’t understand. “Yes, what? To…Touma, the doctor told you to pick up the phone.” Hearing Index say this, Kamijou turns to look at the doctor, wondering why the doctor has a wireless phone in his hand. Is it really alright to use a phone in a hospital? Kamijou thinks, but on further pondering, there should be phones in the hospital as well. Anyway, he picks up the phone. The phone seems to be linked, as on picking it up, Kamijou hears a familiar voice. “Do you have to end up like this even when you’re on a holiday trip?” It’s the frog-faced doctor. Kamijou was always taken care of by this doctor in Academy City. To Kamijou, who often gets injured and admitted into the hospital, he feels that this frog-faced doctor is really skilled with his hands. “Eh, what’s with this suddenly? Ha, don’t tell me you can even diagnose a patient through the phone.” “If I could, the hospital should start providing handphone service, right? However, because I can’t do that, I’m requesting you to do one thing. You are to immediately come back to Academy City.” ……………………………………………………………WHAT? “I’m not joking. Even if that facility is an ally of Academy City, it’s not good to let other hospitals check or adjust an ESPer’s body, right?” “That’s…true. NO, HOWEVER…I MEAN! I CAN’T TAKE THE PLANE IN THIS CONDITION; IT TAKES ABOUT 10 HOURS FOR A PLANE FLIGHT!? BEFORE THAT, I’M COVERED WITH WOUNDS, YOU KNOW!?” “Ah, don’t worry about that. There should be a supersonic jet parked at the Marco Polo Airport. That can go past 7,000km per hour, so you should reach Japan in an hour, no?” “A LARGE JET!? ISN’T THAT THE FANTASY NORTH AMERICAN X-15 RESEARCH PLANE!? CAN I REALLY RIDE ON THIS PLANE THAT’S FASTER THAN A BULLET WHEN I DON’T HAVE ANY TRAINING!?” “No problem, no problem. I rode on it before. The most it feels is like there’s no gravity.” “THAT THING ONLY NEEDS AN HOUR!? I GUESS ALL THE CONTENTS IN MY STOMACH WILL GO THE WRONG WAY!!” “No problem, no problem. I rode on it before. Within the first ten minutes, you don’t even have time to think about that.” WHO SAYS THERE’S NO PROBLEM!! Kamijou hugs his head with full force. “WAIT A SECOND! I…I BASICALLY HAVEN’T EVEN BEEN IN ITALY FOR ONE DAY? AND I DRANK THE WATER OF THE ADRIATIC SEA TWICE…NO, INCLUDING THE ESCAPE, THAT’S THREE TIMES. I DIDN’T GET INTO THE IMPORTANT VENEZIA ONCE!!” “Oh my, aren’t you happy with this kind of experience. Anyway, I have one thing to say…I know this is unreasonable, but just give up and come back.” YOUR TONE IS SO COLD AND UNREASONABLE!! Kamijou again hugs his head. At this moment, the voice on the other side of the phone continues, “Oh yes, that cute girl that’s been coming to the hospital to visit knew I was about to call you, so she said that she has some important words for me to pass to you.” “WHAT???” Kamijou wonders, who’s this cute girl? Right now, Shirai Kuroko and Himegami Aisa are staying in the hospital. For Himegami, there’s Fukiyose Seiri and Komoe-sensei. On Shirai’s side, there’s Misaka Mikoto— “Wait a second. Misaka Mikoto?” Mn, the frog-faced doctor on the other side of the phone carelessly nods his head. “That’s right. Seems like she said “After you come back, expect me to give you that punishment game from Daihaseisai”?” “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!? I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT IT!! AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!” The doctor and nurses force down Kamijou Touma, who’s starting to act violent on the stretcher. They seem to mistake this as some emergency situation. Kamijou Touma and Misaka Mikoto once bet during Daihaseisai, and Kamijou, who lost the punishment game, has to listen to whatever Mikoto says. If she knows that he forgot about this and went on a tour to Italy… “WHAT’S WAITING FOR ME IS HELL!! NOW I DON’T WANT TO GO BACK!! ARGHH…WAAIITT!! DON’T USE THAT SPECIALISED TOOL TO HOLD ME DOWN!!” The stretcher is being carried away. The person on the other side of the phone says to the sighing Kamijou, “Alright, then…what should I say? Welcome home, Kamijou Touma.” So the official explanation is that it's because he's an esper. This does presumably mean that an esper is physically different from a normal person. I'm not sure whether that means that they need special medical attention to the point that normal medicine might react poorly to them, or if it's a matter of containing secrets. However the notion that there's more to this than we're being told isn't really outlandish. I have a bit of a hard time believing they pull out one of those planes every time someone gets injured outside the city. Then again, I don't know what the policies are on leaving the city. Could be that no one gets to go home during holidays so it just doesn't come up too often. Lord knows it's hard enough to get in to academy city on a normal day. It could apply both ways. |

Aversa said: I am actually wondering about that. Kanzaki was purely a part of the Anglican church from the beginning of the series. She was originally the leader of the Amakusa, but because they couldn't keep up with her they kept on dying. Because of that she left them to join the Anglicans. In the events of the seventh volume the Amakusa, after following in her footsteps finally ended up being absorbed into the Anglicans, technically they're an Anglican sect now. This being said Kanzaki still left the group. She feels responsibility for them, and has been shown to even try and look after them from the shadows, but she keeps her distance because she's afraid she'd hurt them if she got too close or rejoined. Also, the Amakusa still view her as their leader and guiding influence even if she does refuse to let them follow her. So um... yeah, that's the situation. Aversa said: The way the Roman Catholic church is described here is the same way Muslim extremist groups such as Al-Qaeda and Jihad view the Islam. The same way Christianity was viewed in the middle ages. Tho i don't think the Anglican church has been showed so extreme, but they have showed it as going as far as to kill there enemy's. Like the way they loot out Lidvia in last arc. I think with the Anglicans we're getting a bit of hometeam wartime treatment. In any war movie, what the American soldiers are doing is probably as bad as the enemies, but much of the worst stuff is left implied, and there's often the understanding that since the other team is the bad guys it's all okay. The Anglicans have been shown to do much, and to be power hungry. They haven't attempted to destroy the earth per say, but they have nukes the same as the Catholics. They have Index, and Kanzaki. In the LN's it refers to countless people killed by Stiyl (he primarily combats large platoons and cults solo, because once he sets up Innocentius he can just let it go to town and slaughter everyone. Since it's temperature is so high,3000 degrees celcius, it can pretty much go right through most walls and metals. It can't really be destroyed. It's an unstoppable killing machine. It's easier to do this if he doesn't have to worry about working his way around not killing allies). Furthermore they've been shown to have a secret alliance with Academy city. Admittedly they haven't tried to destroy half the planet or anything, but I don't think the anglicans have quite the history the catholics do anyway. Then again I'm not terribly knowledgeable on the topic. If they do I'd still just chalk it up to the fact that the Anglicans aren't quite as powerful as the Catholics, and are a much smaller religion. If they tried to do what the Catholics have done they couldn't handle the backlash. The catholics, with 2.3 million members, an entire history of powerful religious artifacts, and having a general stranglehold of fear set up throughout the entire religious world (no one would stand up to them because the Catholics could destroy them without breaking a sweat), have been acting in line with this. Without meaning to get controversial, it's like how the US can afford to have an aggressive military because they're on top. Other countries have Nukes too, but despite likely being guilty of equivalent crimes, are more cautious in their actions. Brittain was similarly aggressive when they were on top. Now that they aren't their behavior has altered in accordance with this. Aversa said: I agree with you on last season like you mentioned it has been been to much of the same characters and last arc also showed more diverse reasons for there actions. And i hope next arc will be something completely different from what we have seen up till now. Seeing Accelerator and Last Order definitely seems to suggest such This next arc is like a frikkin wet dream. It's a change of pace. It's got the best of the slice of life, the action, the plot, the accelerator. Minimizes all the horrible faults and flaws that hurt the series. It's got just about anything you could ever ask for. I just pray they do it justice. We do not need a bastardized poorly animated cliffnotes of this arc. We need the arc. Plain and simple. Hoping they can give that to us. Seriously, just take the arc, put it on the screen. I don't need to hear complaints about budgets or narrative stylistic problems, or time constraints or anything else. Do what you need to do, get it done, and show us some freaking results. Nothing less is acceptable this time. As good as the arc is I've got some serious trepidation walking into it now. On another note entirely, has anyone noticed if Gensou Koroshi has been used in season 2? It's the battle theme. It was used in the Accelerator battle in Index 1, as well as just about every other major fight. Used a couple times in Railgun as well. When she's taking on the giant robot and I think also against the level 0 monstrosity thing. It can be found here. That song really made the first season, and I really think we'll need it this next arc. I suspect it hasn't been in use, as I'd probably have noticed, but lost my archives recently so I can't check. |

Any moment set to this song immediately becomes an epic moment in which fate lies in the balance. There's a reason every truly awesome scene in S1 had it. It indeed does everything you said. Way I see it, if they don't have a proper replacement for it, they have no excuse not to be using it. They used it in the beginning of the final episode of railgun. Episode started with a bang. Straight from the beginning that episode outshone the rest of the series. When you look at how many of the best scenes in season one use the song, it is not an exaggeration to say that it was integral to the series. It could not have been what it was without this song. Literally any moment it starts playing, you know you're in for a treat. |

I honestly think they ruined the ''To Aru Majutsu no index'' that I loved and cherished. That arc was the most bland, irrelative, and ill-plotted arc i've seen in a long time. I've seen a lot of bad anime, but to see one of my favorite anime go from excellent, to utter trash. It's a sad sight to see. The anime world has become a sad, sad place. Money cringing, corporate asses run the market now. Some people still enjoy the crap they spit out. I really hope they bring this back, somehow. I'm actually praying for it. Please, please have a decent arc that actually makes sense and doesn't dialogue that comes out of nowhere! Looking forward to the next! |

Despite the general consensus that the arc sucked, I must say that I loved Norio Wakonoto's performance as Baggio. Fucking awesome. |

and another great episode and ending of an arc in the 2nd season of Index. The story keep getting better, and better. Next arc must be interesting as for seeing Touma return to The Academy City. Episode 4/5 |

Wow, that priest is a creeper and his plan was really ridiculous. Destroying many cities is God's will, yeah right. Poor Agnese was tortured for this stupid reasoning. Good to see this arc wasn't that long, even though it was interesting, it was quite dull and unclear at the same time. OMG Kanzaki as maid! And who the hell was that creeper full of piercings threatening the Pope at the end? Touma hasn't even been in Italy for a full day! Ah whatever, go back to Japan because I wanna see Mikoto making Touma do whatever she wants! Next episode ought to be great! =D |

Way-hey, penalty game! Although, I though the penalty was the dance that got mentioned at the beginning of an episode a few eps back, guess not. I do like all the religious mythology, reminds me what was great about the two indiana jones films that dealt with it! And Kanzaki in maid outfit hhhhhhhhhhhnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh |

So if his touch dissolves the ship, then why wasn't he falling through the floor every time he got knocked down? also, why didn't he try touching Agnes when she started convulsing? He probably couldn't have broken whatever link she had. And why didn't he try touching that massive ball? it was obviously pretty important and was probably the core of the spell. Why didn't the fleet sink when the flag ship did? wasn't it maintaining all of them remotely? I'm getting very very tired of the massive number of plot holes in this series, and even more tired of that moron Touma who just spouts random nonsense and then miraculously manages to land blows with his right hand. Seriously, any halfway competent enemy could have killed him at least 20 times over during any of his fights. |

Wow that arc was terrible. It was a struggle to get through, not only was it boring as all hell, the animation was also bad. Also, pretty ironic that Touma says something along the lines of "don't you dare lay a finer on her' when he punched her in the face twice. I'm glad this arc is over and hopefully the next one is good (or at least decent). |

Touma finally uses his left hand to fight. It's been all right hand Imagine Breaker in his fights. LOL at Biagio's creepy face when he activated the Rosary spell. I thought Touma's Imagine Breaker needed physical contact for it to work as when he returned to confront Biagio in that room with Orosola and Agnese he used his Imagine Breaker from a distance twice. I really hope Kanzaki gets more screen time along with Accelerator in the coming episodes. |

So Touma can get rid of parts of the ship with his hand. I guess all those other times when he touched the walls didn't count when he was sneaking around cause of plot holes. Yay. Other than that bugging me the arc was ok. The lack of Misaka and the existence of Agnese ruined the experience. But some actual Index screen time and Orsola was nice though. |

Touma charges into the room and tells Biagio to at least check if he's dead before leaving. Touma proceeds to hit Biagio once and then ignore him. And this happens every single time, just learn your lesson already and destroy their magic artifacts when you have the chance. Oh well, looking forward to the punishment game at least. |

Knowing how corrupt Academy city really is, I actually liked that Biagio Pope guy for wanting to destroy the city. From Loli Puncher to Old man puncher. YAY! Touma Yup, Touma's a pagan monkey. He only believes in saving girls ofc Waiiiit..... why is it troublesome if other countries poke around in his body? lo Is it because he is a level 0 esper? |

Man, could that vilain have been more cartoonish? ''I'MA DESTROY THE ENEMY OF THE CHURCH, THAT MEAN YOU, STUPID MONGRELS! HAHAHAHA!!'' Damn, it was satisfying when Touma punched the shit out of him. I hope he drowned like the little cunt he was. Anyway, Touma now must face that gage he did with Misaki over the Sport Festival if I remember well. That mean... MORE MISAKA!! :D |

Religion is nonsense and stupid. They believe in superstitious thing that's why I take the side of science :p Wakamoto voice sure fun to listen to :3 Hyped already for the next episode. I think Toaru will be much better if it concentrates more on comedy rather than serious. |

That bishop or whatever he is spits out words of destruction with his mouth and holy weapons. Hated the speeches he did; barely followed it as they were super long. Low blow using his spell like that to kick people who are down.. Thought Touma was dead due to the blood in the pile of crosses. Apparently he got out just fine. So what's the punishment he will receive by Misaka? That lady at the end with the Pope.. creepy. |

This anime series looks like an infernal circle, it never ends the fight to destroy the academic city. Sometimes Touma makes me nervous with his speeches and with the fact of solving everything thanks to the strength of his right arm, maybe a couple of punches were enough to solve the problems, LOL. The cliffhanger puts a lot of anxiety. |

The antagonist was kinda boring this time around, just your typical crazy guy. Also I still think it's amazing how often they can make Touma win in the exact same way like always. |
