DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- It's tough to follow up from the awesomeness of last episode, but this was pretty good. I just loved how everyone was talking about Ogiue not knowing she was really close to them. And her reactions were great too. Favorite part of the episode:  |

| A hilarious Ogiue-centric episode! Not as funny as the previous episode, but funny in its own way. I particularly like the monologue she goes through as she shops and how she eavesdrops on the Genshiken gang talking about her. I also liked how she been exposed and her inner-comment about bumping into Ohno. As a side thought, I find Ogiue an interesting character, she obviously a closeted otaku, but act totally anti-otaku and doesn't hide the fact that she hates otaku. The only reason I could think of why she's like this, is that she hates herself or the otaku side of herself and projects it to others. Perhaps, something in her past traumatised her and she blames the otaku side of herself. I don't know, I'm just projecting myself, only time will tell. |

| OMG, another great episode,,, I just love Ogiues voice with that "other" japanese she uses. It is really interesting to listen to and I find it actually more beautiful to listen to than ordinary japanese. |

| The comiket chapters in genshiken have always been my favorite and thus the comiket episodes are by extension my favorite episodes of the series. This one is no exception. It was just a fun episode and all the references just went on to make it better. It really takes a series like genshiken to make filler scenes just shine out like the original source material. |

| Another fun episode, I am a little tired of Comi-fes mainly due to me also loving Comic Party but the characters remain great. The one problem I have with Genshiken is an overuse of the female characters such as Saki in 1 and the OVA and Onigue in the OVA and 2, but since I like them it is a small gripe. |

| Another great episode. It's nice to have an episode to see the club members chat with each other. Poor Ogiue going to all that trouble to disguise herself. And Itoshiki sensei at Comi Fes was just absolutely hilarious especially if you've seen Episode 7 of Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. So many references that just fill my heart with glee. |

| Poor Ogiue-san.... I think the reason she is embarrassed, is because how she probably got viewed in the country side. I'm from the south, and when people heard I like anime; no scratch that, found out that I like to read... Their reaction always went something like this: "What'z ah preety girl like ya self stayin' in the house all day fo'?...Hmm?" (make sure you say that with a strong southern accent) Now that I'm temporarily livin' with my grandmother in Ill.- And I stress temporarily. I hear it even more, (she's from the country and can be very old fashion sometimes) then when I lived in Atlanta I mean I really get sick of her saying, that I stay in my room to much. I don't want to justify to anyone, anymore, why I stay in my room. Especially not when I'm paying her $320 a month! I'm not doing meth or have unprotected sex with a crack head... Hell, she even blames me being in my room to much, on my being tired and my back problems. No... it couldn't be that car accident I got into last year, or my tedious job that keeps me in a chair all day? No... It's me in the bed watching anime and reading manga... Ogiue-san hang in there I feel your pain... Umm by the way... Not sure if it was only me, but when Kuchiki-san started to fantasize about "Doing" Ogiue-san... I got a little sick to my stomach...it was probably only me.... |

"I Missed It Too!!!" aside from the boobs, i have a question. at the end of the episode, why did the light brown haired non-otaku girl (forgot her name) say "It's been here since last year" when talking about Ogiue's bag? has a year passed already??? or did she say that because the festival they went to was held in the winter, maybe december..? (Ogiue was complaining about the winter's weather earlier in the episode, thats how i know) if this were true then that would mean about a month has passed right? |
| It was the winter Comifes, so I assume that it was in December, and then they went back to school in January. And the light haired girl is Saki. |

No, I found it rather gross too. That may also be because, to me, Kuchiki is a really annoying character and I don't see him having any luck with a girl whatsoever, now or in the coming episodes. For the rest, I thought this episode was really funny. Not as hilarious as the last one, but Ogiue is definitely one of my favourite characters and I like it that they focus on her, 'cause she's funny. =) |
