* Note: I can only use Youmu. * To the Critics: I don't play this game that often so be nice ;D Mine looks like this: ![]() So that's: 3 -- Bomb Cards 4 -- Binding of Symbiotic Attachment (The Myon upgrade) 2 -- Present World Cut (Lv. 1 Runpast) 3 -- Meditation Cut (Green Sword) 2-- Eternity Cut (Super Runpast) 2 -- Blue Swords 4 -- Cherry Blossom pillars Analysis (lolz): 1) Bomb Cards -- I use this on people who run their blockstrings over and over again. Used for keep-away. 2) Myon Upgrade -- The best thing that happened to Youmu, in my opinion, is Myon. Myon is central to my gameplay... because my most of my normal and situational combos involve Myon. I also throw out random 22bs a lot so yeah... 3) Present World Cut-- I use this as a reversal if I see people spamming 2a's. Useful in River Mist because the game messes with the distance. You can get some people who think their combo will connect but in reality, will actually whiff ;D (correct me if I'm wrong). Punishable on block... but not always when spaced correctly (I may be wrong on this one) 4) Green Sword -- I use this for combos. Useful in Typhoon when the game messes with proration. 5) Eternity Cut -- See #3. Really fun to use. Evens things out if you're at a life disadvantage. 6) Blue Sword -- See#4 7) Cherry Blossom Pillar -- I throw this out randomly. Safe on block if spaced correctly... I think. Deals decent amount of chip damage when blocked. Be prepared to eat a combo if this whiffs :D Your turn. |

Since Lucy posted what he used on me, I'll post mine too ^^ Reisen U. Inaba. Deck : ![]() Analysis : 1. Mind Dropping card. Useful for changing play style versus air opponents, but overwrites the original 236B/C (Mind Explosion) w/c is one of my favorite nukes in the game. Can still be combo-ed on a 5AAA 5B/C but breaks limit after the hit (100% limit, no more follow-ups) 2. Undersense Break card. Inaba's close range laser. Very useful versus melee dominant opponents [Aya]. Replaces the original Ultared Field, but since the usage of the orig. 263B/C is very situational, I'd rather replace it. Can be combo-ed on a 5AAA 5B/C with followups on air. 3. Disjointed Circular Corolla (Corolla Vision). Useful 1 card special, but useless outside combos. Can be used in air. I usually chain this in corner BnB's or situational BnB's. 3. Corolla Glance (Crown Vision). Good damage 3 card special, ground only. Can't be used in air. High damage when chained with a 5AAAA. I also use this in a lot of other combos, and as a counter. 4. Stare of the Gloomy Phantom Moon (Lunatic Red Eyes). 5 card special. Can be used in air. Does good damage on it's own. I either use this as a counter or chain it in a corner BnB or a 66A. 5. Sleepy Heart, Sleepy Mind (Demotivation). 1 card special. Destroys the top card of your opponent. You'll never know how much difference it makes when you destroy a 5 Card special lol. 6. Scars of Absent-Mindedness (Discarder). 3 card special. Destroys 2 of top cards of your opponent. Same reason as Demotivation, easily chain-able in a 5AAAA or 66A |

Marisa Kirisame I don't play with hard-to-land combos. I'm more of doing counters and blind attacks. Deck: ![]() Analysis: 1. Busky Sweeper (#2) Used to counter opponents in mid-air. Can also be initiated for corner combos. 2. Narrow Spark (#2) Usually used in a distant range. This pierces anything and the afterdelay is almost 0. Can also be used mid-air for opponents that keeps on jumping. 3. Up Sweeper (#3) Replaces my favorite Witch Ray Line. I only use this if opponent is open from mid-air attacks. This skill has a great afterdelay so I only use this conditionally. 4. Magic Sign "Stardust Reverie" (#4) My favorite Special. Can be used both in ground and air. Can be chained after a combo. Can be used as a counter and it's faster than any special. 5. Light Sign "Luminous Strike"(#4) This is somewhat like the Stardust Reverie but this can only be used on the ground. 6. Star Sign "Meteonic Shower"(#4) The damage isn't great but this can be used as a counter. Can also be used when opponent's orb is about to break. You can waste this to prevent taking damage since this only costs the card itself. 7. Star Sign "Escape Velocity"(#1) A conditianally used special card. Used to blindly counter. someone preparing for a mid-air attack. Can also be chained after a combo. |

Here's mine.![]() 1. Bomb 2. Weather Card - quick change from the unpleasant weather. >_> 3. Aum Cut - For quick A-to-C combo. Frequently used. 4. No-space Inclined Bend - Rarely used. 5. Insightful Sword 6. Present World Cut - My favorite Youmu spellcard. 7. Meditation Cut - I only use this when enemy is in mid-air. 8. Eternity Cut - I use it all the time. 9. The Way of Seeking the Silent Door of Tomorrow - 6AA, 5AAAAA or 214BC combo amplifier 10. Nirvana Ascension Denial Slash - I use it when enemy is getting up. Deals quite the damage, though I gotta admit, it's hard to sync yourself to the enemy's movements. |

hmmmm.... is the Aum Cut a common alternate spellcard for Youmu? Haven't played a lot of other Youmu players... I always wondered what the numbers next to your spellcard mean (i.e. 0/23). I know what the first number stands for but what does the second number stand for? |

Youmu: - Lotus Stance Cut: Best thing that hapend to Youmu I think as I find this the only good Projectile she has. - Demonic Person "Eternity Cut": My fav super move of Youmu. - Rest: The rest is there to be a sacrofice for Eternity cut or to be used in special casees. :P Reimu: - Binding Border: Still testing it. - Spread Amulet: Space control. - Rest: Randomly using spell cards. Usually the Omnidirectional Demon Binding Circle. Sakuya: - Perfect Maid: Tokei wo tomare! Muhaha. My best wepon to drive the opponent crazy once I can predict the opponent. Literly. I once made Relunx go berserk whit always timing this move right. XD - Rest: Randomly using either Illusion Sign "Killing Doll", Burial Illusion "Phantomic Killer in Night Mist" or Scarred Soul "Soul Sculpture" depending on situation. The rest is for sacrofice or for special cases. Remilia: - All: Randomly using super moves. Remilia is perfect as she is. Whit her spellcards are not needed. I use one when I feel like it for masive damege. But when it come to remilia it's really all about countering everything whit her high mobility moves and stuff. Yukari: - Bound for Aoyama: Random good move? - Body-dismantling Machine: Invulnerability attack. :P - Boundary Sign "Attractive Joining Four Boundaries": Invulnerability farme close range counter. - Illusory Nest "Flight of Visionary Insects": Sacrofice. - Waste Line "Aimless Journey to the Waste Station": My fav. Just way too LOL not to use. XD As you might realise. I don't use original move cards. I find those power ups too weak and I think they don't really worth the risk of playing them in a match. I keep 4 of the alternate card only so that I can drow them fast. Nothing mutch to say about my super moves. I use next to all of them in the same way. Either sacrofice them for another super move or just use the invincibility frame to counter an enemy move. ( this as well requires me to be at the stage where I can predict my opponent. ) I don't use bombs or weather change either. - Bomb: I reather use a super move to counter my enemy when I'm attacked as super moves do masive damege while this one dose none. :P - Weather: Instead of waisting card for this I would reather get used to all weathers so that I will have no problem whit any of them. |

Both instances where I wasn't punished on block was when I had 5B bullet cover. The enemy saw the 5B so he remained in a block state and it was safe for me to jump out. Here's the sequence: 1) I do a 5B 2) It travels across the screen 3) I cast Lv. 1 Runpast 4) Runpast gets blocked 5) 5b Bullet follows shortly after 6) opponent remains blocking * will update later with my Yuyuko and Yukari card decks :p |

I'm simple minded I guess.![]() Remilia Scarlet 1 Guard Counter - I have no idea why I have it. Just staying safe I guess? 2 Health Recovery - I think I'll switch it out sometime. 1 Spell Charger Increase - For quick access to new cards. 4 Divine Spear "Spear the Gungnir" - Mostly uses it as a final touch when the opponent flies too far. 4 Scarlet Devil "Scarlet Devil" - It got it's share of power. 4 Demon Lord Walk - It's quick and deals OK damage. 4 Demon Lord Arrow - It got it's uses. |

TNinja 1 Guard Counter - I have no idea why I have it. Just staying safe I guess? [/quote said: Hangeki (guard counter) and other system cards are standard in most JP decks. Even Tres Bien (top komachi player) has a weather card in his deck :p my Yuyu card deck: ![]() 1) Bomb Cards - I use this for keep-away. Useful against overaggressive enemies. 2) Lance of the Swallowtail Crest - Not sure if I'll keep this after I discovered a new use for her j.236C. But this comes out really fast, faster than Aya's bullets lolz. 3) Death Sign "Ghastly Dream" - I normally cast this at point blank range if I sense that you're going to poke :p 4) Ageless Dream - I use this after a dial A combo. 5) Deadly Butterfly "Everlasting Nap" - I don't find this as reliable as the 2-card version. You can't cast this too close... or the damage will be reduced. 6) Repparition "Arising of Pseudo Paradise" - I use this if I tag people with Yuyu's 214 move. 7) Life Limit "Ticket to the Netherworld" - See Ageless Dream. Not as reliable in online matches because people know some guard crush sequences. |

![]() My deck is full Power... its based in getting Blazing Comet or Dragon Meteor I have my other skills in order to change them in some kind of situations(specific chars) 1 SpellCard Weather 1 Bomb - U know actually its useful in order to get out of the corner insteando Of using BE 2 Card Gauge Booster - Like I am telling ya.. I am really trying to get my Blazing Comet Ready so I always use this in battle to pull more cards 2 Busky Sweepers - These could help u out vs those chars who always spam their moves so I switch my Main DP to get a invencibility grazing frames 1 Stellar Missile - Actually there r people who loves air , and they do enjoy to spam their missiles over there , not anymore, my stellar missile will chase them down =3 3 Narrow Spark - woah this come in handy almost vs any chars, except youmus and yuyuko where I prefer my basic 236, come in handy at air comboes! 2 Master Sparks! - Marisas SIGN do not ever go out with them , nice invencibility frames and a way to add more DMG to your comboes 1 METEOR DRAGON - for chars that r DANG SMALL!!!, suika, youmu, remi, are dang small so instead of blazing them, I can Spark them while break shielding them 1 Stardust Reverie - well This come in handy when people start spamming their bullets, it will piercer bullets and lauch vs u 1 Escape velocity - people will usually come from air to do their basic comboe,..so I can counter them with this card , it also have high DMG for a 3 Spell card 4 BLAZING COMETS! - MAIN Purpose of this deck, Blazing comet Can take more than 60% of damage, u cant use your bullets at air anymore if u dont feel like getting hit by this, and in Typhoon its MADNESS, Marisas Excel in this MOVE! the best of the best! 1 Meteonic Shower - woah, this moves add extra damage, but the truth is that it helps when I run out of spirit so I can defend myself while I am at the air n.n 1 "Luminous Strike": Its like stardust reviere but I also like this atack ,its easy to dodge but u can always rely in this move when people r only doing 5aaaa... so u can hit them good xD |

Only started playing like two days ago, so my deck is still 'under works'? along with my skills, lol.![]() main focus for me is speed instead of combo 2 bombs for emergencies 1 crescent moon slash for reasons im not sure of (may change cause i usually cant hit those buttons on my keyboard well aside from lucky chances) 3 binding attachments because of fast strikes. 2 lotus stance cut to combo and cut away enemy shots and trap in corner 4 core extraction cut because of quick strike 4 present world cut because of quick strike 2 meditation cut for emergencies to deal alot of damage 1 soul sign for double melee purposes 1 thousand cherry blossom for extra. of course as i said, im still working on it and trying to get used to this. any suggestions on how my deck may cause problems? |

CAUTION CAUTION I started playing Nuke-tan. Tried out all her moves and this is my firs deck whit her. 4X Hell's Wave Gun: I don't like her original 22B/C so I cahnge it for this one. Quet nice actually as I can time the relase of the attack differently to confuse the opponent. 4X Explosion Sign "Mega Flare": Simple low/mid cost super. Nothing much to say. Usually a sacrofice for the biger supers. 4X Raven Sign "Hell Raven Dive": I use this as my close range counter super. 4X Explosion Sign "Giga Flare": Full screan blast for masive damage...but usually a sacrofice for the next and my fav move. 4X "Abyss Nova": I find this her best move by far. She starts charging her noke energy and then you are free to move as she charges. Go agro and knock the enemy down or something or just don't let them escape. Even if you are hit the move is not canceled. At the end it ends up whit a very big range unblockable NUKE explosion for masive damage. Feals awsome to blow almost the whole screan up. :D As for my old characters: I now use "C. Ricochet" whit Sakuya. This move is pure awsome as It won't be too easy for your opponent to time the dash right wile you presure them as well. I now use the super version of Youmus default 623. Testing it. I also started using Vampire Kiss fo Remillia. Still testing as well. |
