So MAL finally starts locking news threads that are only a few weeks old? I wonder where was the announcement of this change? Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

It's really not surprising that the most generic anime I've ever seen gets a sequel. Generic = SAFE. |

So is it going to take place in college or is it going to add more characters to the HS club and focus on them? Well, I'll watch it either way. |

Great news, this anime was surprisingly enjoyable. I think there's still plenty of material to animate. Even though novel consists of very, very short stories there are 9 volumes so I hope they will cover more of it instead of adapting Chuutobu. |

I love GJ-bu but I never dreamed they would make a second season. I mean the first season averaged 3k per volume, which isn't exactly sequel territory, and it was heavily discounted on top of that. Not to mention, I never saw the LN's tearing up the sales charts. I'm guessing it wasn't a particularly expensive anime to make but I didn't think this factor would offset the other ones. I am surprised and delighted, although mostly delighted. |

It is a bit like Kill Me Baby in that it started a bit slow but at the end it was well-loved by anime fans yet it never attained success in disc sales (KMB even sold much poorer) and the boost to the original LN/manga sales was not clear. Sorry if you're baits and bites towards forums aren't saving the anime industry at all, but don't worry; do it forever and ever along side complaining will surely help the anime industry to do less generic things!! Anyway, holy damn didn't except a 2nd season, especially the average sells indication and ending. I'm looking forward to seeing this, missed it a lot more than I thought I would. |

Hopefully it'll somehow continue with the highschool characters after they graduate, possibly with anime original content (since it's not like GJ-bu has an actual plot right?). I'll be sad if it's about the sisters :( |

I didn't really expect it to get a 2nd season with it only having 3k sales. But this is good news. If you see anime series that only sold 3k BD's/DVD's as the no-risk kind of series , then you must have a very strange definition of 'safe'. |

Yeah the sisters were all very likeable characters. I'm guessing the roles will be switched. Mao, Shion, and Kirara will show up occasionally, just as the sisters did in the first season. Likewise, the sisters will get more screentime. Although, I'm wondering if they will be in high school by the time the second season starts. If that's the case, then they might join the Kyoro and Tama in the high school version of the GJ club, which would be very interesting. |

From what I read, I can say it's about 75% confirmed it would be another season instead of a few OVA. I TOTALLY WELCOME IT. When I first saw the initial message when I stalk their official site, I was nervous, hoping for a sequel and my wish is granted! NEED MORE SCREEN TIME FOR MEGUMI!!!!!!! I hope Kyouya dates Megumi. It'll be awesome! |

It could be a special or an OVA. Whatever this sequel maybe I welcome it with open arms. =D Not sure if this is a potential spoiler so I'm putting it just in case... It'll be interesting which characters are involved. Will it centre around Kyoya's club setting or will it centre around Kasumi's (Kyoya's sister) club setting? Since in the LN's sequel of GJ-Bu it all centre around Kasumi and the club in her middle school.^^' |
