| This episode wasn't any special for me, we saw Hibiki's dead face clip and his new summon which was cool. It was pretty boring tho, until the end when Houtsuin got Hibiki's dead face and they started the ED theme which made it epic, the ED never gets old. |

This episode however contradicts quite a bit of the game and is clearly there to set up an anime original ending which is exactly what I DO NOT LIKE. You do realize originally the set up is so much like it's manga counterpart, don't you? At the beginning at least. Anyway, for the people who didn't follow the game's announcement: "Devil Survivor 2: Break Record Has A New Scenario After The Ending" What is the chance DeSu2 will spoiler us with the new ending? Now I can't wait for Shiva, Kama, Lugh to appear and be their respective tamers' new demon. :D Daichi needs new demon, though. Black Frost? It'll be awesome is Alice appears and trollin' everyone. As for me, I'll patiently wait where this will get us. Daichi's true ending is out of window since Keita is gone. I mean, sure it's rushed, but it can't be that bad (not as bad as another rushed anime, at least). |

I like to think better that Alcor is the one that appeared on Yamato's phone. So far Alcor look like the only entity Yamato ever respected in his whole life so it wouldn't be weird if it happened. |

| So they actually taking different route than the game eh. Well since Keita died in ep 3, it means they will choose another route or making their 'own' route. I hope it will be good enough with the little episode count they got. Hibiki... I don't know what to say about him but I think he kind of bland at the moment, they need to make him interesting in a way. At least put the joke he make in the game but since the English localization has different dialogue so... Not to mention his voice, I have to say this is one of the point I think the VA doesn't fit him. Yu was perfect in P4A but Hibiki just plain weird for me though. LOL at the hoodie though, since we never see him wear it in the game it kind of funny that they make him wear in the serious situation. Then I remember first DS MC has cat earphones so it make them even now. Jungo voiced by P4 MC? Totally recognized that Yu's monotone voice. XD Somehow it is fitting since both of them kind of deadpan & cat lover in a way. Airi are really cute here. Both of them make a good pair. Oh the ending song play at the end make a good transition. |

Ive played the game and what I can say is that the characters are more interesting in the game and because the game have better character development while the anime focuses too much on the MC/Hibiki's character devolopment. |

| Brilliant episode!!! New characters Airi and Jungo look like a funny pair to me but it seems like they are very friendly with each other. Seems like people in the JP's have their own ways of defeating the enemy as some strive to overcome Yamato. We see Suzaku which is a new demon owned by Hibiki and it looks very powerful. The enemy is getting nearer and we see Yamato thinking about his past to which he was blessed with talent from a very young age being able to summon Cerberus with ease. I guess Mono and Yamato really did know each other a long time ago and they had a small interaction at the end and Hibiki is Yamato's friend according to his phone!? Looking forward to the battles in the next episode!! 5/5 |

| Well, I have to say, they made me like Airi a lot more than in the games, at least it's doing one thing right. Otome and Joe's introductions were.. unexpected. Best par of the episode: Yamato's reaction to Hibiki being a "friend". |

| Man felt like Hibiki has been gone for months since he joined Ronaldo but in reality it isn't even a day. Big reveal on Hotsuin there which, given how Hotsuin treats people as pawns and doesn't fight on the frontline even though he is incredible strong, makes sense. I wonder who is the good side in all this...if there is one.. |
