| Ouch, that may be hard. Tenshi no Tamago aka Angel's Egg probably will be my favourite. It made me to think about it many times. |

| Probably The Red Spectacles, his live action movie. For anime, it is kind of a dead tie between Ghost in the Shell, Angel's Egg, and Patlabor 2. I'd probably lean towards Patlabor 2, but just barely, and it's probably the type of question where my answer could change based on mood. |
