| This series gives me a Miyazaki vibe, I really like the subtle tones and atmosphere created. The art style and supernatural dealings are very reminiscent of the Miyazaki films, and I'm loving it. ^^ |

| Slow episode, but who said that slow can't be good? It was relaxing but didn't make me yawn at all, even when I watched it at 11pm half sleeping. The scenary and the supernatural beings, as MistressMorbid said, reminded me of Miyazaki films. |
| I feel so relaxed now... Also, no-one mentioned it yet, but I really like the music... especially the opening and ending. After the episode ended I stayed on the couch for a minute to smile... |

| I finally got to watch the first episode I started on 7-10 and then accidentally watched episode 26 which really seemed that should of been the first episode but I won't give spoilers. I usually don't watch this kind of anime but it's so relaxing and soothing. |

| Refreshing, That's all I can say at the moment. I totally loved the art, the VA of Ginko was just excellent and gives me a good vibe for some reason (His seiyuu doesn't have that much roles anyway, I was wondering what kind of other characters he has voiced before). Such a peaceful ambience, I loved it. |

| let me tell you something...i wanted to watch Mushishi since like februrary,and i'm happy i finally got the chance to do so ^^ this 1st episode blew my mind off...i really didn't expect such an amazing first episode i know it is early,but i will rate this from now a 10 because im 99.99% sure i will rate it a 10 after i finish it about the story,it was awesome! :),when the kid blushed at the little girl version of his grandma it was cute :) 5/5 and Mushishi may be the single thing that could become as good as clannad....we'll see :) |

| decided to start this anime over cause it's been so long since i watched it last! i got to episode 19 but it's going to be lovely watching everything again. the imagery is so goddamn beautiful here, everything so lussssh. this episode made me happy! |
| What attracts me most is the BG animation, they're like 2d character in a 3d world. I haven't grasp everything yet. But, this is like the genesis times, when the world is created. So the originality factor made me want to continue watching. Although the enjoyment factor was in a slow pace. |

| Reading the synopsis was interesting enough to draw me close to this and watch it. This was quite calm yet enjoyable episode.. Though I haven't grasped everything about Mushis yet I find it interesting to know more. |
| I was starting to go for episode 4 before I realized I had an account in MAL ._. But well I liked it. Yes, the atmosphere is very different, and somehow a few hours after watching it some scenes just won't go from my mind. A good sign. I also agree that this isn't for marathon. |

| A truly relaxing, peaceful show. I felt captivated all along; it has a unique concept and the atmosphere is equally special, quite mysterious and peculiar. The OP theme is really nice; I was surprised when I noticed it’s in English, though. The ED is so simple yet so wonderful, a single piano piece playing with the credits, ending and fitting the mood of the entire episode. The animation is exceptional and the art with soft earthy tones that give it a lovely, easy on the eyes backdrop. It’s barely the first episode, but I can assure it’ll be a pleasant experience, beyond doubt. |
