Haha, no problem! Yeah, I would probably be really confused if I hadn't just read the whole series. They introduce way too many characters and all kinds of ridiculous things happen. It can be hard to follow. x__x
I'll consider it. Read the synopsis for Claymore, looks really interesting.
And that's cool, I don' like to have too many animes going on at once, I'll definitely send you the links though whenever you want though :P
And I do like Samurai stuff :P I loved Afro Samurai. Only weird part was the sex scene between him and that girl, when I realized it was that little girl in his flashbacks I was like, "...wat..."
That whole scene was so sad omg. "I hate you Reika I want my girlfriend OH WAIT NO I DIDN'T MEAN IT I LOVE YOU."
Despite her being pretty insane, I liked her too.
Oh, you mean the black-haired girl? That's Anzu Yamasaki.I actually wasn't sure myself, so I had to look it up. xD
And I was actually thinking of watching the anime(for Claymore), looks really good. Tbh, I'm not too much of a manga person, I only read the manag after I've watched the anime and I think, "Shit, I HAVE to know what happened" which was what it was like with Sekirei and Gantz(the only two mangas I'm reading). To be honest, I think I'm gonna hold off on manga for a bit, til I've finished S2 and both OVA series of Higurashi, as well as School Rumble. I need to know what happens at the end @.@
I'm on 357 of Gantz, so I'm pretty much up to speed. You're on 350, and since I assume you'll catch up to me soon... I'm kind of sad what happened to Reika. She cared about Kurono so much, she brought back Tae, she even created a goddamn clone of him she was so crazy for him...and he didn't accept her until it was too late. That's Gantz for you...
Oh, and if you're worried about links and shit for Higurashi/Eien, I'd be happy to share some with you. Use Anilinkz for Higurashi if you watch that, out of all 40 eps over both seasons I've seen so far, every link has worked, and that quality has been awesome.
For Eien, I just used Dubbinz. They relocated and all their shit is(or will be) on JustDubs now, but the dub is definitely a good one, and Dubbinz is always pretty good quality.
Yeah, definitely. It's kind of frustrating at times though. Every time things start getting a bit happier, someone gets killed off in a really horrible way. I get so mad while reading it sometimes. xD
Correction. Although it doesn't go through time loops or jumps as massive as Mnemosyne, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien is a good anime to watch if you like seeing what the passage of time can do to heal a wound, and how the smallest thing can tear that wound right back open, larger than ever :P It's a romantic drama though, very serious atmosphere and such, not much humor. I watched it on recommendation, but it turned out to be excellent, so I'd give that one a try, too.
I can definitely see where you're coming from on Gantz. I love blood and violence, that was the main reason I watched it.
I know. I felt bad for Rin, especially during the part in the first(or second it's been a while) episode when that sadistic bitch gave her all those piercings o_0
And the best example I can think of is what I'm watching right now. Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. Fucking brilliant anime if you haven't seen it.
I don't know anything else. To be honest, Mnemosyne is so original it's hard to liken anything else to it in almost any way.
Okay, through random forum/profile creeping I kind of stumbled here, so...yeah...
I saw the thing the person below me said about GANTZ, and while I don't disagree( what the manga does is infinitely better than the stupid-ass ending the anime somehow conjures up) it's still worth watching, just to see how Kurono develops in the anime vs. in the manga.
Besides, most of us have wasted our time on worse things anyways. What's 5 episodes? :P
Lol, it's because my boyfriend (who really likes Gantz) said the last few episodes were really bad anime-only material. So I decided to just drop it and read the manga instead.
I shall do just that then. ^ ^ In all honesty, I did feel at times the story sorta drug out too much but I enjoyed it nevertheless. I liked the psychological aspect and the fact that most everything was explained rather thoroughly. You don't get that in most manga but then again most manga aren't so serious in nature. But when you read a lot of ninja, vampire and demon stories something like Monster is a little refreshing or in the least different. I haven't read any of artist's other manga so I think I'll go with the 20th Century Boys you mentioned. Any other gems I should look out for?

I actually just got caught up a minute ago, haha.
