School Rumble
Okay maybe 'hate' isn't the right word, but still.... Tenma is probably the most ANNOYING character in the whole series! Not to mention she looks like a kid, acts like a kid, is downright idiotic and is probably mentally handicapped. Honestly, tell me....why is harima all over this chick? WHY?! It's killing me! I mean, of course, I've seen the flashbacks and stuff. And fine, I guess he fell for her uhh looks I guess....but how can someone sane possibly put up with her stupidity? And I mean, Stupidity with a capital S! The only redeeming quality I can see in her is uhh......what.....uh....she's friendly I guess? But so is every other girl in the entire freaking series! I'm at a loss for words.....both Yakumo & Eri blow away Tenma in comparison, but oh no, Harima only has eyes for Tenma for reasons I just cannot comprehend! I sincerely hope I'm not the only one who feels this way. |

She has numerous flaws but she doesn't let them get her down (for very long, at least) so she's a very "genki" character, which is cute sometimes. It's already gone into why Harima likes her, they even did a flashback. I must admit, I would get disheartened because of her thickheadedness, but Harima is either stupid (well...) or very devoted, as no matter what he always ends up right back at Tenma. Even if Tenma can be selfish at times, she's also very upfront about helping people out. She does have good qualities, you just have to look past Harmia's side, because she really is thickheaded. I've seen all the episodes and read the manga, so I know harima's flashback. But like you said, I really thought he would be turned off by her ridiculously low IQ level once he got to know her but.....yeah, saying he's 'devoted' is putting it lightly. And sure, Tenma may have some good qualities, but her forte is being an idiot. I felt even Yakumo's friends had more personality than Tenma. I would be okay with this if she wasn't the main character, but unfortunately, she is. |

| I don't hate her, I actually think she's one of the funniest characters in the show but I don't understand Harima's love for her. I mean from the flashback we saw how he fell for her but to keep it this long? She likes Karasuma and in the second season she does nothing but make Harima's life more difficult. If anything Yakumo is a much better fit although I really want to see him end up with Eri. |
| School Rumble is a comedy anime. Tenma is the main character and her entire existence is for the sake of comedy. If you don't find her funny and hate her, then why are you even bother watching this? |

No, my point is, why are you trying to find a single hint of logic in Harima's crush on Tenma, when it's pretty clear that the whole series doesn't care about it, as shown by other examples of love feelings (Really? Tenma loves Karasuma because he's mysterious? Ok, then please explain me the "mysterious" appeal behind a guy who wears a kappa raincoat and other weird asocial traits, I can justify Harima's crush on Tenma equally based on similar premises) and its overall tone of absurdity. It's called context, deal with it. I don't really care if you hate or dislike the character, that was never my point. |

| Tenma might not be the girl we all want Harima to end up with, but Tenma is a fun character to follow around. I love her energy and reactions. |
