| Amegakure (雨隠れの里) is a small, highly industrialised village located in an unnamed country. Its architecture is composed of several metallic skyscrapers connected to many power lines surrounding. A number of smaller villages also surround Amegakure. As its name suggests, it rains almost constantly due to a storm above the village. There are many ninja from this village who are skilled genjutsu users. It is a hidden village that raises the ability of its shinobi, in turn working out original techniques. They also developed assassination techniques, getting numerous requests from foreign countries because of this. This is also where the Akatsuki reside. |

| Etsuko was standing silently in her dark office that overlooked the seemingly bleak and dreary city. Despite the bad weather, the people were out and about playing, shopping, talking and working hard. It had taken awhile to force the Akatsuki out of her territory, but she managed to do it while keeping up a sort of alliance between them. The fact that the Akatsuki's leader--or former, she didn't keep up with them in these troubling times--was her ex-husband didn't make her situation any easier in the slightest. In exchange for their exit from Amagakure's government, they received safety, supplies and support from the village. Etsuko received Akatsuki protection and service along with being deemed the Amakage. Her only problem was the outrage expressed by all the other villages that knew of the arrangement. With a sigh, Etsuko scanned the papers once again that came from the Sand and Leaf Villages. Etsuko burned the documents and sat at her desk to watch the rain as it fell. The door was opened and a messenger entered the room, bowing before he would actually attempt to address her. "What is it? Speak loud and quickly." "Ma'am," the small messenger said as he held out yet another letter. "This is another warning from the Leaf. They forbid releasing the shinobi we sent to enlist in their forces. T-This includes your daughter, ma'am." Etsuko scowled as she read over the papers and decided she would be paying a little visit to the Leaf. Without a sound, Etsuko walked to her private quarters on the ninth floor of the main village building. She began putting on all of her clothing and equipment before pulling out a map of the Hidden Leaf Village. Once she found an entry point, she turned to her full body mirror and walked straight through it. The Leaf Village would be receiving a little surprise visit from the Amakage, Etsuko Yamaguchi. |

| As Etsuko was in the process of walking through the mirror, she heard the knock and jumped out. With a frown, she covered the mirror and opened the door to see an unfamiliar male. "State your business I don't have all day," she snarled as she stood in the doorway. |

| "Mom?" Etsuko frowned. "Last time I checked, my daughter Kimiko was in Konohagakure. And why should I care about the Akatsuki do? As long as they obey the laws of the contract I don't give a rat's ass. Especially after that filthy bast-" she clenched her jaw. "Your name?" |

| Etsuko locked her jaw and crossed her arms over her chest as she sized the girl up. "You realize you're in the Rain Village. I'm the Amekage not the Mizukage," she stated. This girl did seem to be a little off. Something wasn't right about this kid. "How the hell would you know about the Akatsuki?" |

| "I have an alliance with the Akatsuki; my former husband is...or was, I don't know...the leader. Who's your father?" Etsuko questioned. "Where do you come from?" |

| "Good, I'm glad that asshole stepped down," Etsuko stated as she steeped out of the room and locked the door. "Walk with me," she commanded as she strode deeper and higher into the building. "Years ago, one of the more recent leaders of the Akatsuki and I were married. We found a way to help each other via the contract. In exchange for my assured protection and support, the Akatsuki receive supplies, support and safety in my land." |

| "At the moment, I'm at a standstill with the other village leaders. They've refused to let our shinobi return to the village unless I break ties with your group," Etsuko said as she opened a door to a room with an odd balcony. "Unless you can find a few in the Leaf Village I doubt I can help. We're spread thin as it is. Aren't you a little young to be running the Akatsuki?" |

| "I see...aren't you fearful of what will happen when the true Akatsuki find out. I don't imagine they'd be very...accepting," Etsuko smirked to herself as she thought of her ex husband. Hopefully this girl would be lucky enough to stay under the radar. "Either way...you should lay low. There is little I will do to save your ass if they find you." |

| "They're laying low just like you. My...my ex husband was the leader of the Akatsuki. Perhaps they too are laying low for awhile," Etsuko murmured. "It wouldn't be a surprise to me though. So is this why you came here? To ask questions and discuss?" |

| "Bingo books? I'm afraid not...why would you need such a thing?" Etsuko inquired as she walked past a mirror and began putting on large, serrated rings. "They're powerful enough to overtake an ANBU squad." |

| Etsuko chuckled and led the clone out of the room. "Did you know, that room is where the famous Pein stayed? Now it's a room for peace and meditation," she said as she strolled along. "The true Akatsuki are outside my borders at the moment and are probably looking for recruits or starting fights. These are large, strong men and it would be in your best interest not to try and fight them. Even I don't try that." |
