I prefered the ending of the Anime but I liked the Manga more because it felt a lot "fuller". A very good read. |

having watched the anime first, i'm probably biased thinking that this is how the story was meant to be. again, not quite finished with the manga yet, but it seems that everything that was left out of the anime could've also been left out of the manga. we'll see if the last 30 chapters changes my mind on the subject... |

to be honest.... the manga had a lot of fluff in it, but i was literally sobbing at the end. if only there could be a combination of the two... they're both fantastic though. brutal and beautiful. |

In my opinion anime is better. I'm usually bigger fan of manga but this time that is not a case. :) |

I thought the manga was better, but liked the anime more. If that makes sense. |

I have read the manga and watched the anime, but I can't decide which one is the best. In my opinion both of them have some good and bad points. The anime for example has awesome art but it is not as informative as the manga about the characters (Bando,...) or the plot (for Kakuzawa's plan, the real ending,...) . The manga on the other side might have poor art, but it is better at describing the characters end helps you get a complete idea about the story of Elfen Lied. If you enjoyed the anime I would suggest you read the manga too. |

I'm sure the manga is good, but it was the Anime that drew me in and delivered a Master piece of a short anime series. |

I'm afraid to read the manga because I know there's more to it. I like the anime so much I don't wanna ruin it... |
