| Honestly, would you rather have a Medaka Box where the best part won't get animated? When you look back @ Kenshin do what's remembered the best? The Kyoto Arc, the Balbadd arc is Magi's Kyoto Arc, it needs to be done for it to be a success. |
| Quite the awesome episode however after reading all these forums posts about it not following the manga...I decided to read the first 3 chapters of it....and wow there is a pretty big difference, they changed the whole way everything played out... that main girl wasn't even shown yet...however other than that I prefer the way they organized this episode....I'll read and watch at the same time in case of more changes :) |

| Balbadd Arc is chapters 32 to 76, they have to rush through the start to get to that point to give it enough episodes to do it justice. |
| I think that I liked episode 1 a little more that the first two chapters of manga. I hope it would be a long lasting anime, its starting very good. |

If they plan on butchering the manga for 8-10 episodes more then I guess they can reach Balbadd and give it around 14 episodes in the first season |

I read somewhere that the anime will focus on the Balbadd arc, and since it's pretty long it's probably going to be 50 episodes. Besides it wouldn't make sense to give the generals voice actors if they weren't going to do the Balbadd arc. Hopefully it doesn't end at the Balbadd arc. Hakuryuu even have a voice actor even though he's first introduced after the Balbadd arc (Except for two pages in chapter 25) and appears in the opening. It also has the timeslot of long running series as Gundam AGE and FMA Brotherhood. |

| I doubt this reaches 50 episodes, if anything i see it during what Nura did, which broke down its arcs into separate seasons. the Balbadd arc has a good stopping point so season 1 can end with the Balbadd arcs end which if i remember ends around chapter 70, the manga (translated anyway) is currently at 143, so there is plenty more for a season or two more, especially considering that the manga is farther ahead than the translations. There is the Sindria arc and the World Exploration arc, so a season 2 is very possible, it all comes down to sales. |

| That was actually a really great start. I definitely like the OP and ED. I also like that it is realistic, so Aladdin didn't just use the flute 24/7. I like Alibaba, though. I really hope that this series only gets better in the dungeon. Looking forward to next week's episode. 4/5 |

| Ya agreed with both of you. Alibaba's favs especially, will shoot up much more than others since he is great in Balbadd arc than arcs before that. Judal's will increase too, for people who love his evilness +/or hotness. |

Or we are seeing yet another case of changes made that impacted users but not communicated to them? I wonder how long people would put up with this. As much as I have a bunch of information to share about anime announced recently I cannot share it in news board, and the anime series is too disorganized and chaotic to share information except with people already interested in the particular series. |

| I wish that the anime was not just a 12 or 13 episodes,because you see the opening, right? It makes me feel that it only have one opening and mostly anime's that have only one opening just have only 12 to 14 episodes. But i do really hope that my guts is not correct.I really love the manga of it and now that it became an anime,I really hope that it would consist of at least 26 episodes or have a season 2.And I forgot who said this but I think that the ending of the anime is not after Balbbad's arc because in the opening,there are the 8 generals,the Al sarmen,Ren hakuuryuu and many more characters that is only shown after the Balbbad arc. That is just only my oppinion and thoughts ^^ |

| I felt like it didn't have as much impact as the manga. I like Alibaba's voice. Aladdin's is very girly. XD But I guess it makes sense for how 'young' he is. Definitely will be watching more though. :D I too expected Elizabeth's voice to be more manly. xD |

| Woah I really thought the fat guy got squished when the arms came out of the flute! o_O Elizabeth? WTF was that?!! O_O The sweet and sexy voice totally suckered me into thinking it matches the face...though I was having starting to have doubts when they initially only showed the feet, leg and thigh. LOL The djinn has no head but the flute and the turban was the flying carpet...maybe I had too much Disney reference last time. XD |
