| THIS IS AN MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Well this was one hell of a chapter. I am quite glad to see that Raphaela and Luciela aren't dead and this could really lead to some interesting developments. And I am really starting to wonder... just what the hell is up with claymore bodies that is so disgusting? Do they like grow some sort of monster tranny penis or something? Bah at the next release date being Oct 10th |

| Great chapter. And seeing Raphaela and Luciela again, and like that certainly a damn surprise. Riful is delightfully evil, isn't she? It sucks that there's now a 2 month gap before I get my Claymore fix. |
| Loved this chapter, a few bits icked me out though, the measures Riful took, and that last shot of Raphaela & Luciela is going to give me creeps. (If you stop and look then you realize that their eyes got juggled around a bit. *shudder*) About the disgusting claymore bodies, it's never outright said, but they're meant to have some hideous scar/disfigurement roughly between their chest and waistline. Though judging from how badly people react it's probably something like actual Youma flesh grafted into them or something else yummy. Just out of curiosity did anyone else do a double-take at where Helen's hand seemed to go? I know it didn't go there, but it made me look twice. |
| I can only guess that the disfigurement on Claymore bodies is a visible piece of the Yoma they took into their bodies. In Clare's case specifically, I'm going to guess she has Teresa's face on her stomach. |

| Something big is gonna happen, Riful plan will either work or work too much. Just as a note the "mark" all claymore have disappear when they awaken, there have been plenty of naked awakened (last one in in the holy city) and we coudn't see it. | I guess I'm the only one who was bored with this chapter. It was not nearly as much Claire as I wanted, even though Riful is fine. It feels as though Claire has become a side character nowamonths... After a month's wait, I guess I wanted more than talking and the appearance of somebody I already assumed were dead. Not that I mind the sisters being alive, I just want to the fights to begin already! It would be good if Isley appeared in the next chapter. |

| This chapter was intense... Riful is evil yet not insane. But about Luciela and Rafaela, I'm thinking it might not be crazily strong but enough to satisfy Riful. Luciela herself was one of the weaker Abyssal Ones and Rafaela couldn't control her but now that Rafaela's mind will be the one in control in Luciela's strong body, this could be a crazy combination. But we'll see... And I'm kinda annoyed Clare is still going after Raki... I don't like him... it's a waste of time imo, but there will definitely be some action when they meet since Priscilla is with him. |

| Ah, a Claymore chapter. We don't get enough of these. But as a result, each chapter is usually really good. I loved this chapter from start to finish. Interesting information revealed, especially about Luciela and Raphaela. I'm curious to see what is born from them after they become conscious. | Loved this chapter, really dissapointed about the 2m wait... Very dissapointed with raki, hanging around with priscilla. I don't want the #6 claymore to die. She was growing on me :( I really want her to meet clare for some reason |
| Why did the two month waiting periods had to start as soon as I caught up earlier this year? x_x Nonetheless, another great chapter. I was really horrified for a second, thinking that was Beth and Alicia merged together. To me it looks like not only Clare and Raki/Priscilla are going to reunite soon, but Riful, Rene, Luciela and Raphaela are going to be in the middle of this. |
| 2 months does stink. This chapter was okay, Riful is a wonderfull 'creature' but i have this feeling her plan will backfire and that Riful shall be killed by the new merge-awakened. I'm sure Rene will make it out alive since she has a mission to forfill for Raki. I do wonder where Raki is headed next, he finished his travels all the way back. |

| Two months would be just too much. Weekly released manga sometimes goes for 2 week breaks, so I guess this is the equivalent. Or Wayne Brady is going to have to chok a bitch. |

| I really don't see why you guys keep fussing over this break. the plot of Claymore is at its turning point, that's all the more reason for the manga-ka to be rather meticulous on how he develops it. then again, this is coming from a guy who patiently waits for Berserk and Hunter X Hunter chapters so a 2 month gap between new chapters isn't really that big of a deal. |

Well, I didn't like this chapter at all, for the mere fact that Cynthia and Uma got assigned to go out with Clare. This is ominous. If anybody doesn't come back from this, it better not be Cynthia. Uma and Clare are expendable -- lovely Cynthia is not.  |

| I thought that was an omnious sign too, but that didn't detract the enjoyment of this chapter. I like Cynthia too, so I hope she is able to come back from the West. But...Clare is expendable now? *add negative smily* |
| I'm being facetious, both about disliking the chapter and Clare being expendable. Not Uma, though. She's extremely expendable and seems to have a bad habit of getting those around her killed while coming out okay herself. Since Clare is obviously going to live, that means my favorite Claymore just got moved up to the number one slot on the endangered list. |
