| My favorites are Elizabeth, Kazuno, Futayo, and Musashi (yes, the doll). Elizabeth because she is so awesome looking (insane hidden powers as well it seems). Kazuno totally won me in her battle with the Gods of Wars from Espana in S1. Futayo because she's oblivious (her and Gin's exchange about sex was priceless) but not during battle. I like Musashi for how she says "ijou" lol. But could someone enlighten me as to why Tori was always naked in S2? Honestly, I don't even know why he's the protagonist. All he really does is spout baseless optimism and goof around. He has no talent or skill, other than having the constitution to take some serious hits. All he does is rely on others and then pop in as the joke character once in a while. He seems like a foil who stole the leader and protagonist's crown. This is why I was glad that Tenzo shared the spotlight in this season. He's actually a reliable and brave guy with skills and a kind heart. He actually has virtues (which also made his harenchi moments funny). Before you bash on me, I'm not hating on this show. I enjoyed it as a whole, but Tori just completely baffled me. I kept expecting him to bust out with some insane powers or something, but I was pretty disappointed. His charging the troops was cool, but nothing to merit him as the main hero... Just my thoughts. Also, sorry for necro... :( |

| Adding to the explanation for Toori's nudism: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ame-no-Uzume-no-Mikoto Ame no Uzume was the goddess, who started dancing naked to lure Amaterasu out of the cave she was hiding in. Also Toori isnt as foolish as one might believe. One example would be the debate battle, where he easily corners Masazumi. Another example is that he planned to become king for the ether reserves, which I dont believe he decided spontaneously. And as Flavory said, he perfectly understands his people and knows how to motivate them (Neshinbara in S2 for example) Hope that helps^^ I think Toori is one of the most misunderstood and underestimated characters. But I think he put up that facade on purpose, to get assigned as chancellor. The first minutes of S1 E1 already showed that he decided to change Musashi's position. |

| Hmm, in order, from the first two arcs, that would give something like this I guess 1) Masazumi 2) Shirojiro 3) Tadakatsu 4) Mitotsudaira 5) Tenzou 6) Segundo 7) Neshinbara ...Maybe. After the top 7, it becomes quite unclear. There's a lot of unique character in this story. I like their prof as well. And some of the Spanish and English cast are good as well. |
