| Honestly the 201st episode wasn't that great, I liked 200 much better. Still, is that any way to end a series? Hey, Gintama hasn't done anything wrong - it's simply not over. We've already received word that it's coming back in the Fall, after all. Gintama has always been the kind of show that minimizes their filler as much as they possibly can. And, in my book, they've done an amazing job at it. So I don't mind this hiatus... I mean, I can last till Fall by reading the manga. =) |

Anyway, I'm eagerly waiting for the second season, hopefully it will again bring an arc that is just as awesome as the Itou one, or as hilarious as the ghost-inn one. Having Gintama in my "completed" list just feels so weird... |

| I plowed through the series in like 2 weeks. *_* The last episode didn't make me laugh at all since I was so depressed about it being the last one, for a while. x) Though I'm glad the director confirmed that Gintama's coming back! I just wonder when it'll happen... I have to make do with the manga! The Kabukicho Arc will be great to animate. ^^ |

There were times I watched 10 or more episodes a day simply because I couldn't stop watching it. All the characters were unique and lovable. However, there were still a few things I was kind of looking forward to seeing but realised they weren't going to be there at 190-ish episodes. I wanted to see a grand arc where they defeat that main evil guy (whose name I can't even recall due to his lack of appearances on the show). What I also was looking forward to seeing was an arc about Gintoki and Katsura's past. Still, I can't really say this show left me any regrets. It was awesome all the way through and there were so many times I literally laughed out loud. Great anime, 9/10 The one arc I want to see the most is Gintoki, Katsura, and Takasugi's past with their teacher and what happened to split them all apart. |

| At last, after nearly two months, I finished this. I give it a 7.5/10 - more towards a 7. Sure, the series was funny, the characters were enjoyable, but I felt that there was too much drama in a comedy series. My favorite character from Gintama was and still is Katsura - such an idiot lol I would have loved to see more of Takasugi, Kamui and Sakamoto. I will however watch anything else related to Gintama in the future - I really want this series to keep going on. |

| So I managed to finish before the start of new season. :o What can I say about this series? One thing for sure - it became my favourite anime so far. Enjoyed every episode of it, all the comedy, drama, action - everything was absolutely awesome. I'm glad that this is not the actual end of it and that there will be more of this excellent show. | Amazing.. Gintama has been an absolute delight to watch! And if this was really the end I would be devastated. Gintama has pretty much taught me how to laugh again.. 10/10 doesn't seem like a fair score at all =( Anyway 2 days until the new season! I cannot wait!!! The first ep is going to be a super troll, I just know it! |

| Finally made it to the end! That sure was an epic finale, I loved every minute. I actually thought Gintoki, Kagura, and Shinpachi were going to sit around and talk random crap at the end of the episode [like they usually do] about the show ending, but instead Kagura only said one short line. Sometimes it's best to keep things simple :) |

| So i just finished this and wow, hands down one of my favorite animes ever! This episode was just totally hilarious and cute too! Classic Gintama! Why are Kagura episodes always the best? HOWEVER, i do think they should've included all the characters: The shinsengumi, Katsura, Elizabeth, Taka-tin, Horachi and so fourth! At least in cameos or something... Other than that nitpick it was a great way to end the series, plus it's Christmas soon in real life so yay :D Now unto "Gintama Apostrophe" ! |

| That moment when you finish a series you know is just one of the best of it's genre and you just feel...sad to see it end. And, this is coming from a guy that obviously knows there was a sequel series to come. About them not having Hijikata, Katsura, and company. I think they didn't have them in this episode because the crew knew they'd eventually have a continuation. 9/10. I'll definitely be going for Gintama' after a short hiatus. |

| I think that was a pretty positive way to end the series. Of course i'm watching this when the their series is already finished airing so I know there are more episodes after it but still I can see why people would be upset knowing this show might have ended. Gintama was a really fun show to watch. There were serious arcs, romantic arcs, comedy arcs, filler arcs all kinds of arcs and they all came together to make the show I can say is in my top 5. People get turned away because they don't understand the references and I believe that everyone should watch this regardless of oneself knowledge about Japan. Most of the comedy is how the characters interact not the references. I can't wait to watch Gintama' and so on. Odd Jobs Gin will live on forever. |

| Quite sad that they stopped with this, it wasn't what I expected to be and I hoped it would end with a big blast, but this was just disappointing and well in the end I was actually disappointed about the whole series. I thought it would be more hilarious and random although most of the time it was just boring, except some times where there were some awesome Arc's but that aside I expected more from it. In general quite a decent series and I'm looking forward to the next season so lets see what's next! |

| Well, the past two months of watching Gintama was fun. I'm glad I gave this show a second chance. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed watching a show this much. I'm just thankful there's a little bit more left to watch. On to Gintama' I go!!!! |

| What a grand finale! Funniest episode of this non-sequel Gintama series and probably funniest episode of any anime for me. Especially loved the overacting 'American' talking and the freeze-framed Otae-san and Kagura-chan. Then all the cliche girl-meets-boy come crashing from the sky as a ninja robot and the new transfer students xD And lol @ the recurring cockroach Hasegawa-san and both Otae-san and Kagura-chan falling for him. LMAO |
