At least it's only on Light novel. If it gets to manga, then it's world domination.
LOL, true words spoken, see'ing as Manga sells alot, even Non-Otaku people read em (It's like, 10k manga sales kinda equals 1k anime sales, general idea though, there are exceptions), if SAO were to get a good manga adaption then we'd better prepare to kneel before it.
On a side note, i've never heard of or even expected half the mangas on there to sell, the world is bigger than i thought.

Just because something sells doesn't mean it's "mainstream", although i have to agree with SAO being one in this case lol.
Btw, is just me or is that a meme reference? just wondering.
Cool "Maoyuu Maou Yuusha - 'Kono Watashi no Mono Tonare, Yuusha yo' 'Kotowaru!'" on the list for 3 weeks running. I'm hoping Arms is seriously taking this versions popularity into consideration whilst making their adaptation.

I wouldn't say it's exactly popular as sales counts for Manga are very different in comparison to Anime.
But since Maou Yuusha is getting an anime anyways, it'd be a boost to the sales.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! OH YEAH! SO MANY OF MY FAVES SELLLING GOOD UP THERE!
AO Haru Ride, Ookami Shoujo, Shinrei tantei yakumo and Joou no Hana! I am just SO HAPPY for Joou no Hana! I know its impossible but I hope that manga gets an anime adaptation!

Good to see Ao Haru Ride. Kokoro Botan as well.
Shitsuji sama no Okinrii is underrated in the English fandom.
I know the sales for Date A Live is good, but 60k by 5th volume is more than I expected.

Go sun-ken rock!! this has the most beautiful art and a lot different to a lot of the other japanese manga. like the love child of a korean and japanese who then gave it to an american comic artist as its foster father.
OP still under three million? Guess the hype went down since the war of the best... but being honest I'd say that One Piece Movie Z will push it again.
Regarding the novels -- I heard you like SAO? <3

That's the 8th week (9th for volume 1) in a row that all volumes are in top 30...
Total sales (Aug 20-26) / Weekly sales
2,575,356 (112,924)
Total sales (Aug 27-Sep 2) / Weekly sales
2,693,776 (118,420)
Hm... will there be a boost in sales for the Sep 3-9 week, after the airing of Episode 10, to coincide with the sudden rise to the top of all the BD volumes on Amazon JP?
I also read somewhere that there are ~5.85 million units of the LN in circulation now. Is there a possibility that there have been some sales that were not reported to Oricon like what happens for some of the anime with their BD/DVD sales only accounting for ~1/3 of their actual sales? This discrepancy can also account for LN units that have not been sold yet, right?
