| According to Chunichi News, anime director Kitamura Masaki was arrested for posting a threatening message on the official website of Osaka City. He allegedly posted a message saying, "I'll kill creepy otaku in Ota Road by running them over and will stab people indiscriminately." Although he's been denying the crime, the IP address of the message was identified as his cell phone's (or that of his wireless device, in another source). Kitamura is 42 years old and was one of the assistant directors of the Mobile Suit Gundam 00 series and the director of Gundam Evolve's episode 10. Source: Chunichi News |
