| I'll start... Name: Inuyashakira What got you into Uta Koi?: The fact that one of my main preferences when it comes to any creative medium like manga/anime is the fact that it's historical. Historical Japan specifically, and Japan is one of my main interests in relation to history, culture, mythology, folklore, religion, and all that good stuff. Plus, before got the Manyoushu from the library, and possibly the anthology that the manga/anime covers. So, I was aware of some of the historical figures and their poems for a while. Favorite character: Easy, Yoshiko. As an artist/writer she's easy to relate to, plus the fact that she's stubborn (a very nice quality), and was very serious on getting her dream. Then there's the fact that I like her poetry. Favorite couple: Yoshiko and Munesada would've made a very nice couple due to the fact they've known each other for years and years. Too bad Munesada just wanted to go with the flow of society and have her be a pretty little housewife who would end up bored to death and unhappy. I WOULD say Sadaakira and Yasuko if it wasn't for the fact that I thought he was too malicious and she was too obedient. I usually go for couples with their qualities, but not this time. :( I won't go through all of the couples and state my opinion on them in this topic, so I'll just get to the point. I like Yukihira and Hiroko, Yasumitsu's daughter and Yoshitaka (cute!), Takako and Michitaka, Munenobu and Sue no Matsuyama, and Sanekata and Nagiko as of currently. What will you contribute by being a part of this group?: ...I'm the creator. Actually I will one of the people that members can come to for information on Japan. As I have information bookmarked and I have some reference books on a variety of subjects in relation to Japan, from history to modern culture. Yes, a variety of subjects~. |

| Name: tsubasalover What got you into Uta Koi?: KajiKaji voicing Fujiwara no Sadaie, so I decided to watch the anime, but before that I've heard of the work. Favorite character: I don't know, I guess Fujiwara no Sadaie so far. Favorite couple: None. I cannot choose any couples that I like. What will you contribute by being a part of this group?: None to say the truth. Even though I major in Japanese and took Japanese history for more than once, I cannot remember what happens then (not good at histories). |

| Name: MeepSheep aka Mayuka What got you into Uta Koi?: Chihayafuru, plus I was browsing through summer animes :) I actually don't like history a lot but this anime made me change my mind. Favorite character: Sei and Yasuko...But I pretty much liked all the characters LOOOL Favorite couple: Yoshimine x Komachi and Sadakira x Yasuko :3 But I loved all the couples, even the shoujo-ai one ^^ What will you contribute by being a part of this group?: I dunno..Maybe I'll post around the forums~ |
