Sequel to Urasawa Naoki's Manga 'Master Keaton' Announced

According to the cover note of the eighth volume of the complete edition, a sequel to manga "Master Keaton" was announced to be serialized in Big Comic Original magazine from March 19th. The title is "Master Keaton Re Master" and the story will be resumed from 20 years after the end of the previous series.

Nagasaki Takashi, the associate editor of Urasawa, is credited as the story author of the sequel. Katsushika Hokusei, one of the author of the first series, passed away in 2004.

Now to hope for an anime adaptation sequel as well...

Anything Urasawa-related is pure golden. Brilliant news. It's interesting to see Nagasaki pulling the strings. I can trust he will do a fine job.

uwwwyeah, but i kinda forgot how the original master keaton ends, and it'll be 20 years after the that, so it'll make him around 50 in the sequel.. hmm

What a coincidence. I'll be finishing the anime tomorrow. It's a real fantastic show. Does the anime cover all of the manga though? If not i'm gonna have to get to reading!

I doubt it will. This is FAR from the only time there have been two Urasawa series in production at once, and it sounds like he won't be the only one working on this.

Finally, an excuse to check out Master Keaton. Doubt I can finish it in time, though.
