| I think this was another case of Zero being fallible. Despite how important it was during the amusement park to listen to the phrasing of statements and see the truth hidden within them, he didn't push that here and had the beard pulled over his eyes with some comical Arabic. I suppose our boy doesn't speak Arabic despite having godlike trivia skills, huh? We can also potentially see some gamblers honor here. I immediately thought about how this is the inverse of the golf match, and so did Zero. Unlike part one where he was forced to mostly respond to trickery, now he is more able to set it up himself and be the first to play dirty. It seems he would like to play by those rules, as in, despite wanting to crush evil at the core rather than helping people more generally, he may still want to do it in a fair way so to speak. Anything he can do, he will accept done back to him. We'll see! |
