Anyone know what's the deal with F-B Ureshii? Raws for 5, 6, and 7 are out and we've gone like 3 weeks without any new subs.

Probably its just them having a bunch of other stuff going on, which is saddening. They should drop shit thats already oversubbed.

Until I see word that it's dropped I'm not too worried. Both groups IRC channels and websites have no mention of anything so I'm guessing that it's still somewhere in queue and being worked on.

Will be out when it's ready? Anyone familiar with that saying?

It wouldn't hurt to do something else, like turning off your computer and going outside. Y'know, real life. The very thing our team has to go through. You might have heard of it somewhere!

I'm the editor for Kaiba, and I've had to move to uni where the housing is so new, phone lines have yet to be installed. Phone lines = internet. As the 2nd editor happens to be on vacation, you'll just have to suck it up. Our temp editor is busy. Go figure.

My Wii keeps telling me that. But I'm not so keen on this real life thing, seem to be all the rage in Europe these days.

Well thanks for the heads up anyway. It was more of a question of what's going on than a complaint. =P

I think it was exams in the US or something. A lot of subbers seem to be students, so exams tend to hose releases by them. Not unusual at this time of year.

To everyone working on a sub, this seems like nothing but a complaint though. Please consider this next time. (:

Yes. Next time i'll just assume the worst, like maybe a translator has tragically died, instead of asking the community if anyone knows what's going on. ;-P

You do that, checking the subber's website and IRC channel (if you're using IRC) and wording things a bit differently would be good enough though.

Thank you guys for releasing ep 5, it was worth the wait.

You guys are excellent subbers, I'm glad you picked it up and not some shitty 'anon' (though I doubt the show is cool enough for anon)

I just thank Ureshi in general for the hard work they are doing to sub such great shows like Kaiba and Amatsuki. Including Himitsu, it's these 3 shows that is turning a good spring season into an awesome one.

Hm, I need to actually start Real Drive. Might as well use Ureshi subs since I'm not watching much this season (3 or 4 max) and I watch anime slower than a snail lately.

Well everyone should know that Ureshii isn't a speed subbing group & they don't care about people whining that they don't release anything for months. They do things at their own pace, the same with other quality groups (e.g. Triad). ^_^

People who try to act so superior with "it'll be out when it's ready" and "subbers don't owe you anything, they can take however long they want" etc. are full of ****. They're just as impatient as you and I, but when given the chance they like to act superior because it makes them feel better about themselves.

"It'll be out when it's ready" is a pathetic justification and rationalization.

Lol, what a pile of crap. Maybe they're just fucking annoyed by people pestering them about release dates again and and again and again, when the subbers waste their precious free time on this tough job. If someone thinks subbers do their work not fast enough, they should do the stuff themselves or just stfu about it and be happy that anime is being subbed at all. I don't realize how people can be so stupid to even questions this whole thing. Stop stop whining like 4yr olds and show some respect, social failures.

I'm really annoyed by people making foolish comments like this and I'm not even a fansubber. I'm just glad that fansubbers continue to cater to the majority, even when kids keep whining "Why is the release taking so long!" (-_-)
