Kaleido Star - I'm torn with the TV series however the OVAs made a valid point. Madlax - I think is a debatable bisexual but that doesn't change the fact that she flirted with Vanessa and went adventuring with Limelda. Miyuki-chan in Wonderland - Miyuki-chan in Lesbianland. |

I think Shinobu is on the list, but the series is not since it was never a yuri anime-- just a gag comedy anime with a lesbian main character. Like Maria Holic, except less disgusting. Will check out Gunsmith Cats because I hear it's subtext, but olden times subtext might as well been text. I think the Major is on the list as well, since bisexual characters are welcome, but the GitS manga won't be allowed since it was never about yuri. I did see that orgy, though. Kaliedo Star-- THAT'S a ton of goggly foe yay as far as I see. I know Saki is full of it too, but Saki veers more to the yuri than KS. Wait, Madlax isn't on the list...? Oh yes, Miyuki-chan in This is A Terrible Anime Land. I'll add that... For Gunsmith Cats, the manga is the way to go. | I did like the idea of exposing Chizu but I begrudgingly see your point... There's that lesbian from Witchblade - oh wait, they don't even list her in the characters list. Oh well. OK, this one is really bad. Why isn't Maya from EVA on the list?!?! She's actually a lesbian character that's treated with some respect. It's totally canon too. |

| To the uninformed of shoujo-ai vs yuri: READ THIS. In summary with additional rant: Shoujo-ai and yuri are the same thing, they do not indicate different levels of lesbianism nor is one more sexual/emotional than the other. The reason that two terms exist is because once upon a time some outstandingly clever American appointed the term shoujo-ai (in the naming sense of shounen-ai) to the genre. Shoujo-ai in Japan however does not equate to yuri, instead it pretty much translates to you liking little girls. Next time someone tells you they are different, you may hit them with a near by object while informing them of the above information. |

| I second Maria†Holic. I'm surprised we have Onii-sama e... but not Rose of Versailles. We should have both anime and manga versions of both of these listed. We should add Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica. It's kinda subtexty, but I think you could make a pretty strong case for Madoka x Homura and Sayaka x Miki. |
