| The moment the dialogue became "dumb" compassionate kid vs cunning evil adult, this felt so shounen. Especially in the way Zero made Gotou look stupid right after that discourse, like if he made up the numbers, Zero wouldn't know any better. Anyways, a perfect voice emulation from a super evil man behind a steel door, never change Zero. I have a feeling that Shirube, the fearless intuition god, jumped without questioning and has a tiny time. As some people in this thread mentioned, the stakes are low enough that by making the jump but losing the race, we would only get more gambles and no real downside so it's a real possibility. It would actually be more shocking if Shirube fell or if Zero won in the race. |
