And I almost feel that it was too much for him to guess the correct finger on the first try. But anyway, he's smart! Lol, nevermind. And I gotta say, from what I've seen so far of this manga, I love it. |

| Zero is a good boy and his initial introduction was risking his life by facing yakuza for his friends. Certainly him choosing not to cut off the finger or being incredibly composed in the face of danger isn't the surprising thing. However, what did surprise me was the fact that he seemed to guess the finger immediately, and immediately revealed his hand: the fact that he will not stab. Jack had just outlined that this is a sadistic game of terrorizing your opponent and reading their reactions, but Zero rejected any of that and made sure Jack knew not to be afraid of him in the process. Is Zero going to play a probability game and cut out the sadistic mind games portion? |
