| From what I hear, DC II is supposed to be a tear-jerker. I doubt it would be from this arc, but wow that was just too sad... What she said is true though...Too much kindness will eventually lead you to hurting other people... Only gripe about the episode was how Nanaka's powers were left unexplained. To veteran Da Capo viewers, it would be obvious due to the previous Shirakawa in Da Capo. To the new viewers, that is one hell of an unexplained epiphany. I doubt Koko would be Sakurai's girl throughout the series, we still have like 2-3 girls left to go right? Never in the history of harem romance anime have the coupling decided in the first episode, especially through a confession. Best episode of DCII by far, bumped this anime up to an "8" for me! |

| Once again, the Shirakawa cycle continues... @Pimptoad that's not entirely true, Harems like Air and Clannad ended with the 1st girl, so don't say that. Though I wished it was Nanaka (or even continue the incest cycle with Yume, lmao. Heck, ending it with Amakase would be interesting xDDDDDDD) |
| You do know those have multiple routes right? There is a 'true' ending so to speak, but all harem adaptations from visual novels have multiple routes. Clannad made it painfully obvious that Nagisa is the main girl (takes the fun out of shipping) and its somewhat the same with Air, but the coupling was never fully cemented until much later on. The only anime I can think of that might fall into this category is Lamune, but it ceases to be a harem show once the male is off the market (that's what I think anyway). | Everyone is missing the important question.... Did he get his report done? As for harem animes never letting the firs girl get together with the guy... Check out Love Hina and AH! My Goddess.... in neither of those was the true love interest ever in any doubt. |

| I don't know if this count but Ichigo 100% was the same way. The story ended with him liking the first girl. I don't think it that uncommon, although I was happy that he did picked the first girl in Ichigo 100%. I don't usually go with the first girl though, I mostly pick the second girl on the list. |

| That was a good episode, glad Yoshiyuki kept his hands where they belong. I think he fits nicely with Koko and the childhood friend deserves to win in at least one anime. In comparison to Junich it actually makes sense for someone like Kotori to fall for Yoshiyuki, he plays with her in a band and has some good qualities. |
