| Well, this is definitely a dozen times better than the preivous Benizakura arc... also this might be one of the best arc out of this show ( how many times have I said this ?) |
| good arc, and with a Gintama-style perfect ending of tricking the audience and Yamazaki into pretending that the funeral was his own. |

| Itou dying had no effect at all. He got introduced in this arc and was an asshole before doing a 180. Why should the viewer give a crap about him? And as expected Yamazaki survived as well, so with all the bloodshed going on, no even remotely important character died in the end. |

| Great ending to this arc, the last fight between Ito and Hijikata was touching. Gintoki had some great moments, but not as much as in Benizakura. And now we're back to comedy. |

| Gator succinctly explained why death in this episode was so hokey. Gintama's writer does a lot for convenience that seems to get eaten up by the general viewer. |

| Such a great and cool arc! It was nice of the Shinsengumi to let Itou die like a samurai. The funeral was hilarious. Poor Yamazaki lol. But it's nice that he survived, even though it was obvious that he would. |
| YAMAZAKI AND HIS BADMINTON ARE BAAAACK I KNEW HE WOULDN'T DIEEEEE YESSSS!!! the rest idgaf about because everything was resolved using talk no jutsu, wow, and such a touching backstory of that traitor Ito, wow so moving, he was only in Shinsengumi for a bit over a year but they boooonded so muuuuch, can't you see the golden threads?? Yeaaaah. Anyways TOSHI IS TOSHI-ING AGAIN YAY plus a demon sword for a demon vice-chief, fitting. I'm also super excited to see Gin's relationship and story progression with those people from his past! |
