| regarding the Evo-R manga, the newest issue of Dragon Age should have released recently so chapter 4 will be here........when its here (chances are, it will be awesome, then painful since there will be another month of waiting, and then awesome again, etc.) as for the subs, the raw was just released last night. >_> be patient and the almighty Spore shall bless you with subs. |

OH GOD! in hindsight, episode 9 wasn't so bad at all since it was a great transition of showing the 2 sides of Rezo. Pokota's admiration and hope that everything would turn back into the way it was pre-plague was completely shattered just like that. the same can be said for Zelgadis since this revelation should be a huge blow to him; finding out that there is no way to reverse his condition. with all the drama and revelations that just happened, its a perfect set-up for the battle which should take place in Taforashia. not to mention that Xellos is finally joining in on the fun. |

| i've been w8ing like 4 ever for Zel to find out about his body, and have a litte history behind it... And i'm still w8 4 Gourrys past, even though I don't think it will come. anyway a exstremly great ep, since i'm like Zelgadis the most. and finaly, when things are mixed up and everything is out of control Xellos is comming :D |
| Be careful what you're asking for uh Zel? I had the feeling that something like that would happen. Anyway if this the face of Zel when he was human well I think he's better of as a chimera he's hot yum! :P About Pokota ppl that was one hell of revelation! |

Considering the people who read the light novels know OF Gourry's path, and just how connected Lina and Gourry truly are by fate, it would be really nice for those who have only watched the anime to find out about their red string as well. Believe me when I say that NO ONE saw that coming. But considering how bad this "season" has been going ("Revlution/Evolution-R"), I don't think we'll be seeing a fifth one any time soon. And that's quite unfortunate. It's unfortunate that Zel no longer has any sense or reason to keep going now that he's learned the truth about his body, but that flashback was pretty cool. Xellos has arrived, and I'm hoping that means an epic last three episodes. |

And that's quite unfortunate. by bad, do you mean that as your personal opinion or the TV ratings of the show? because IIRC, Evolution-R has 4 time slots so that can't be a sign that its doing all that bad. since the Naga sub-plot has been non-existent since episode 6, I think that opens up the possibility for a new season. which would in turn be Amelia's story in the forefront, resolving her......er.....past. then...... |

| Wow, I believe that was the single best serious episode Slayers has ever produced. It sets up a complex conflict with the characters (finally Pokota is worth something to this story!) and actually advances Zelgadis' plot about wanting his original body back, something which hasn't budged since it was introduced about 100 episodes and 15 years ago. |

| That was some tension. Heh, I secretly cheered that Zelgadis will forever look as cool as he does now. /petty. Considering that, a little like Rezo, he's willing at least work against Lina to regain his human form, I hope he sticks around longer. (Maybe he really does like Amelia that much?) It's true that Xellos is a major draw, but Slayers without Naga OR Zel would be seriously lacking~. Good thing the neopet is finally contributing to the story. |

| Almost as good as episode 8, but not quite. Even though I love Slayers for not having a lot of exposition I still liked the brief history of Zel'Gadis. And now that I think of it the original Slayers history for Zel was pretty weak. At'least this made it make more sense and we got a whole new side of Zel. Rezo just got a lot more points in his evil rating. Original Slayers: "kidnapping, turning Zel into a chimera, creating a clone" Evolution-R: "Create a plague inside a kingdom, "help" the victims, manipulate the royal family of said kingdom to do experiments with them willingly and then steal the prince's body" And the new english VA is actually a lot better than the original. Original's voice was too...soft. The new one has authority and that calming effect you'd want from a healer...you know what I'm saying? But there's this one plot hole that keeps bothering me: If this whole Tafarashia-deal happened at the same time as the first Slayers show, then why did Rezo decide to awaken Shapranigdo instead of finishing his first plan? It just seems way more dangerous than transporting your soul to another body. Did he just want his own body and when he heard about the Philosopher stone he decided to contact the Dark Lord and make a deal? Just like that? I't must be just bad storywriting from Revolution/Evolution-R creators. And finally Pokota the "Whaah! I will NEVER BELIEVE YOU! LEAVE REZO ALONE!!" turns into "Holy crap. All those things are true...but my people could still be saved! So screw you guys!" Evolution-R is starting to become little by little better than Revolution. I hope the ending doesn't mess things up. |

| Yup, Rezo is quite evil. Creating a plague, "helping" the victims, sealing kingdom so no one would interfere. That's pretty evil. And the answer to the question Lina had at the end ("Is it possible there's yet another side to this incident?"") is obvious once they showed Xellos. But what does Xellos, or rather Hellmaster, want to achieve? |

| The drama seems quite unnecessary. I mean why would they not let Zelgadis talk with Rezo? And even if he threw that jar into the lake, I doubt that Ozzel would've had much trouble getting it back again. |
