| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Buddyfight is an interesting card battling system with a unique take with having the key monsters (or I guess the term from Vanguard would be Avatars) crossover into the real world and buddy and partner up with them. The crossing over even with the battles taking place on the real world terrain or in this episode the huge skyscraper with the huge sword even slashing through the entire building after summoning the hi ougi via the clouds was impressive and gives me hope for huge battles in the future. Solid english dub at least with limited reusing of voices from cardfight vanguard, only one that is extremely apparent is Baku's voice is exactly that of Vanguard's Ali Fazil, while everyone else is hard to tell, at least from their limited lines in this episode. Gao has great energy and good personality, while Tasuku sounds most confident and impressive. I think both are my favorites with Noburo falling for third and Baku fourth. I hope this is a successful endeavor so that we can keep getting the engDub episodes the same time as JPN is airing the episode as its really good, actiony and intense, and just fun. | Gave it a watch due to the English dub, nothing special but will keep watching to see how this one turns out. Main character seems likable, fight scene with the bullies was good and can see these two "buddying up" well. |

| The main character is dressed like he is from a 90's high school street fighting anime. I like the style of martial asrts he uses, and I am looking forward to more fighting. It reminds me of medabots in a way. |

| I like it so far. Seems more sci-fi-ish than other card game shows, and I dug that police guy's flying shoes. The music is good too. |

| I watched the first episode for kicks since I noticed it was a brand new show. It looks pretty fun actually, the characters aren't annoying and the CG effects are cool. I think this show has to take the prize for Strangest Anime Hairstyle Ever with Gaou's purple-haired classmate (seriously, her pigtails are threaded through ivory rings that somehow manage to stick straight up despite anything to keep them that way; it's freaky). It looks like next episode will have a more detailed presentation of the card fights. Hopefully they won't spend too long at a time on a single fight (that got really annoying with Duel Monsters). |

| Great start!! This has very GAR and nostalgic feel to it, I think I'm going to like this one. And, the dub is excellent as well. We usually don't get that kind of emotion in kids anime hear in Murika! I hope this one is around for a while, and also hope it does well so we continue to get simul-dubcasts like this! They really should play this on TV here to. I think it would be a good fit for CW in a block with Zexal, or on Nicktoons in a block with Xros. Or maybe on The Hub on Saturdays to break up the girl show block that got going right now.(Don't get me wrong I love MLPFIM!!! :P) Urahara Out!! |

| I'm late with starting to this series but liked the first episode. But I really love to have it English subbed not dubbed.>.< I've seen both versions and subbed was much better in my opinion. As mentioned the English sub is super cheesy.XD So really wish to know if there is more in original Japanese sound/ dub versions online with English subbing...it's soo hard to find.XP |

| No subbed version in any language, as far as I know. I'm willing to sub it in BR-Portuguese because people at my local card shop have prejudice against it. |
