| Depends what it is that makes you a so called 'gundam fan'. Positives: Would you enjoy a bundle of callbacks, quotes and references? Nicely animated fight action sequences? A delicious soundtrack and voiceacting? Appearances of Gundamrobos from each and every series (minus AGE). Negatives: Would you be caught up in a show being too 'kiddy' for you? Do you dislike competition/tournament themed shows? (Particularly ones targetted at younger audiences.) Do you require Gundam to be some warped dark and gritty war-drama? Build Fighter's premise is not SERIOUS WAR and DRAMATIC REALISM, though the same can be said of a few other Gundams. It's not really a show in the vein of the majority of its predecessors, but it is a show that loves Gundam. PS. - it seems the only Gundam you've watched is 00 - which would render the numerous references and in-jokes irrelevant, but Build Fighters is a solid show without those anyway. |

| That depends. This one is not like any other Gundam shows. This is a sports show wearing a Gundam theme. It is not serious, there is no war, no death, etc. If you like sports shows, or card game shows, you might like it. It does have great animation, and the battles look really nice. But, you may not be able to get into it. If you want real mecha action, with an over arching plot, and seriousness, this show may not be for you. |

| It's entertaining and enjoyable for me as a Gundam fan. Is it good? We can't really say yet as it's only starting. Give it 5-10 episodes and then decide if you want to watch it or not. Right now, it's a fanservice show that will make you jizz your pants. Characters are still being introduced, and the story still hasn't started. Will it have a "darker" twist like Yu-Gi-Oh! or will it be just competitive Gunpla fighting, we'll have to wait. |
