The first 3 episodes were pretty strong. But this 4th one. Jesus. Complete filler and a flop. Useless fan-service 101. I would have rated it an 8 if it kept going like normal but this just left such a bad taste I had to rate it lower.

Well I feel cheated, I had to watch through the over-the-top fanservice the entire time but I didn't mind them since last episode's preview had warned me ahead but that ending was $h!+. >_< It wasn't resolved if they got to Earth eventually, "only God can answer that." O_o Ah what the heck...5/10

So they finally got to the Earth, well done! (even though they still left the door open for possible sequels and some questions unanswered)

But man, they really did it with this episode, they really put it all poses from the preview of the last ep, job well done!

Certainly very interesting parody of old sitcom Tenamonya series and Star Trek Voyager.

6/10 It was nice miniseries but it would be a lot better if there was more episode.

this anime is amazing, but tragically unfinished
it seems like the cancellation decision came either after episode 3 or during episode 4 when it was too late to change. I just don't feel this was a planned ending point.

episode 4 is pretty weak compared to the first three - I can't help but feel the ad hoc costuming to cover lady parts was a transparent ploy to increase sales that ended up being of no use. Overall, I feel the intensity of the animation declined gradually after the first episode's amazing mecha / space battle animation but this last episode was quite a nose dive.

Overall, my thoughts on the OVA as a whole are positive. The animation is stellar, the use of color is great, I like the story, and Space Trash Paralia, and the almost equally sociopathic detective lady Yakoyama, are super fun to watch. It felt like a Gainax or an ancestor of a Trigger anime - specifically, I got Kill la Kill vibes from the outsized character personalities, the lovely face animation and the posing. Paralia might be the meanest criminal girl in anime- I think even Revy has more empathy than Paralia does.

the scenario is great, I love 'road trip' stories and that's basically this anime.

Feels like Shinbou's peaked in the 90s.

Shame they left it just like this, it was pretty good.
